This is one of my favourites. It cuts me up every time. When she sings the line "And I beg, I beg to be drained from the pain I have soaked myself in. So I can stay okay, and more than okay for a while." It breaks my heart. Aurora touches my soul.

Please, please react to the entire Haik documentary. It would be so lovely to experience with you. In case you don't know already, Haik is a min-documentary TV show in Norway where the show's producer will take an artist on a magical day full of surprise events. In this one, Aurora is taken to a location where she performs her song Warrior for two unsuspecting fans, goes to a place where she tries out a Virtual Reality headset, then hears one of her favorite Norwegian singers sing one of Aurora's own songs to her. Finally, they arrive at the concert site - Aurora knew that she would be doing a concert but she didn't know the location. This forest is very near the house she grew up in - she spent a lot of time as a child roaming this area. The audience was filled with friends and family including her parents. There is one final surprise during her performance of The Seed. The show is worth watching in it's entirety since it really gives you insight into who she is as a person. I believe it's available on KZbin with English subtitles.

Aurora calls her songs her little children and for me the depth of love she conveys in this performance shows me that love in abundance,her songwriting ability is more than outstanding it’s at a level above and beyond anyone.for an artist so young to totally get and understand life and the world around her is phenomenal her catalog of songs that she has written from the age of 9 is seriously unbelievable but this song for me is a jewel in a crown if Lennon-McCartney had written this we would call it a masterpiece.The depth of emotion in the closing words wow! My eyes filled up with tears,AURORA YOU ARE THE BREATH and truthfully in a class of your own ❤️❤️

The Haik documentary before this concert by itself is a fascinating look into Aurora and provides insight into how beautiful a soul this girl really is. You could perhaps watch privately and react to the two songs within the documentary- a stunning performance of Warrior and beautiful cover by Ane Brun doing All is Soft Inside. Glad you enjoyed Infections....and noticed her nervous start to the song-perhaps because this was a song that she composed solely on her own. Regardless it is an excellent composition and I strangely get a Karen Carpenter vibe from it.

Great reaction again! And great to see your appreciation for Aurora. There aren't a lot of artists, or humans for that matter, like her. She comes across as extremely humble, grounded, genuine and polite. I would like to know her better myself, and see if she could let me in on some of her secrets. I feel like I could really benefit from that. Looking at the world around us nowadays, every litte light and glimmer of hope for humanity would be highly appreciated. I also liked what you said about the small imperfections in her pitch here and there. Humans are indeed not perfect. I'm sure Aurora is the kind of artist who would let these "imperfections" remain unchanged, were this a studio recording. Like with everything else (your hair, skin, clothes, possessions and what not can always be tweaked and polished to give the impression of perfection), all the while this image will stray further and further away from the real you, or your inner being. You are correct.... she has in intervjues said that pitch is not her first priority... it has to tell the message... in my mind she is using her voice to create "moods" or "stories".... she "bend" it to create it.... I don't know if this make sense at all.... thinking stuff in Norwegian that is difficult to explain, then translation to english.... not easy.... but I try.... 🙂

When you do finally watch the Haik (pronounced just like 'hike' in English, I think) documentary, you will see that they actually spend time talking to audience members and give them a chance to tell Aurora what her songs have meant to them. It's heartwarming and very touching. I think this song exposes Aurora's true self more than any other. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the courage and depth of this statement.

That moment right about 6:27 is so _affecting_ to me.... Seems like Aurora got cold chills at that exact moment. I've seen her do that before when performing. It's rare....but every so often this sort of cosmic shiver will wash over her. Imagine being the human actually serving as the vessel for this sort of creative alchemy. As powerful as it is for US to hear/see this....just imagine what it must be like for HER. o_o

I can only imagine what her parents must have been thinking and feeling watching this in the crowd.... To say they must have felt proud seems a severe understatement. To watch your child....who used to be too shy to sing in front of you, now years later, exposing her heart and soul to SO many people, making them weep with their humanity... It must be pretty profound to watch your own child DO that, have that kind of effect on so many people. I can't even fathom what it must feel like for them....

@@StrateleStudios Aurora 🧚 is the only artist who affects me so strongly and as a nearly 59 year old Dad with a daughter near her age, Aurora 🧚 gives me hope for the future - I've seen a lot of artists 🤜🤛 and she's amazing. Also the only artist I remember the first time hearing (first week of January 2020) like it was yesterday. BTW her favorite color is green and many people feel she's a wood nymph, not of this world 🧚, so you aren't alone thinking she's otherworldly.

While I adore her lyrics and vocals on this song.....I often listen to just the instrumental version. Not sure if it's official or a cover someone did without vocals. But even without vocals the song is SO emotionally strong. Indeed, it has quite a Sigur Ros vibe to it. It sounds like the sort of piano-lead track they would've written in the early 2000s.
