I have a 'conflict of the mind' to share with you. It is a reflection that not everyone will like, but I share it just so we can all reflect together. Can 'magic' be, sometimes, experiences as oppressive? I absolutely love her, her persona, her intelligence, her sensibility, her poetry, and the multilayered dimension of this magnificent being, Now, the part I sometimes reflect about in secret, for fear of how this might be perceived, received, and, god forbid, hurt, even if a little be, the person or the image of someone I value and appreciate immensely can be captured by this question: how would it be to actually work, on a daily basis, with Aurora? Yes, she is an artist and a performer, and all these mean she is someone who deliberately commands attention. She also advocates for people to be themselves, feel special, and claim their space in the world unashamedly and in an empowered manner. Following her work, I have seen her do all that in what seems a very tactful and graceful way. Yet, sometimes during this interview, as it happened in some other cases here and there, she opened a window - and I intrusively peeked into it,, And I was not sure of what I was seeing or how to feel about it. like when she asked the people to listen to her music while they were operating on her appendix....(but then it was justified as a way of restoring evenness, to balance out on the symbolic and actual intrusiveness of surgery - you inside my body, me inside your ears/mind.). I also imagine her inviting her team to come to spend time on trips and enjoying surprises that she arranged out of enjoying being the boss and considering herself a good boss: could people say no if they wanted to? Can kindness become oppressive? When humans are invited to spend the weekend with goddesses and fairies, can they actually say no? This was a lengthy one, sorry. It is a well-meaning sharing of a different kind of 'conflict of the mind'. If this comment upset or triggered you in any way, please let me know - it was not my intention, and I would be very much willing to unhurt and untrigger you with exchanging ideas in an untoxic manner and extending a sincere apology if I can.
