Beautiful beautiful Aurora. What a talent she is and continues to grow to be. And what a beautiful, innocent, soul she is, without pretension or ego despite great success. I love her very much!

She is amazing. I have only recently found her. I don't think she knows how good she is. I also don't think my opinion or that of others are a great concern to her. Like she said, she does it for herself, if it helps others then that's good too. So pure ... honest .... mature .... simple.

Fantastisk mye bedre enn senkveld-intervjuet. Lindmo tar henne seriøst, stiller de rette spørsmålene og lar henne være seg selv uten å le av henne :) Elsker ærligheten og innlevelsen hennes. Forventer store ting av Aurora!

7:39 I believe this might be a key moment in Aurora's new musical life in how she approached dealing with people, big shows, crowds, and nervousness. Look at her expression when Sven Nordin speaks about taking on a second character and costume. I believe the Once Aurora documentary describes how she brought herself and her second character back into the whole of herself. Right at 8:05 That is where we see the character of Aurora diverge from her self as a mechanism of protection, giving her time to gain the experience and confidence we now see and love.

Mads Axelsen What most overlook is that AURORA taught herself how to play (by ear) without sheets with no tutelage at all. That in and of itself is a remarkable achievement. However, she is a very, VERY private person who is afraid of what the future holds in terms of exposure. She would rather remain sheltered and obscure if given a choice I think. One must realize, this all just fell into her lap (she did not choose this) and I somehow feel apprehension on her end. Still.

Very good point, should have made a point out of that. Looks like she has grown a little by now, at least that is my impression. Just hope she doesn't get pressured into composing something that isn't her.

Here toward the end of April 2021, still in a pandemic. She hit 1M followers on Instagram just a month or two ago? Now at 1.7M followers. People are still just finding out about her which is crazy. If you think she is big now, watch out.

@MatthewSwasta2 жыл бұрын
@@justawarrior3347 You are incorrect! I am new to AURORA and I don't know what a tiktok is other that the sound an old clock makes, hanging on my wall, chiming every hour, that has to be wound from time to time. My first song experience was the 2019 KEXP KEX hostel performance, which is still my favorite. You ought not lump all of humanity together in such a fashion. I don't believe Miss Aksnes would agree with your comment at all. In fact, I think it would sadden her. And if you've been waiting 8 months just to troll, and I bit, shame on me...😂🖕

Is it just me, or does she sing the song with a bit more of an accent than she does on the studio version / other live shows, probably because she was just speaking a bunch of Norwegian. But yeah she's amazing, i love her. Big fan.
@southport979 жыл бұрын
Colin Bell Hard to say, but she was nervous as hell that I know; however, this performance was so good, you would think she's lip-syncing or a backtrack is being used, but obviously that's not the case. If you listen closely, you can actually hear the nerves in her voice, almost to the point of her breaking in spots. Those with an untrained ear won't notice, but she really knows how to utilize that natural nervous energy to her advantage to really sell her vocal delivery with her hand and arm gyrations, along with those kicks. This is not a stage gimmick, it's natural. I doubt she's even aware of what is going on at the time..
@Madsa869 жыл бұрын
southport97 She came from nothing to a kind of fame in 1 year so , had no experience how to front TV , radio and other interviewers and on top of that she had to front nearly 650000 viewers watching this show , no wonder she was nervous If you hear her singing with an accent that sholdn't come as a surprise knowing she is norwegian. Lot of love and kindness to her !

southport97 - I agree with everything you said cept the lip sync part. I mean, cuz you can hear the nerves, and that her English is less concise than other times. She seems a little tired or worn down. Only jet lag I hope. I worried the drastic change in her life from home body to superstar and the pace of touring and her devotion to giving every bit of herself to every one of us at every show would dim her light. Then I realized this post is 3 years ago and I've seen more recent performances and interviews and her light is shining with ever increasing brilliance. Thank you so much for posting this. I appreciate the opportunity to see her in her own country, with her own people, speaking her native language. Its something I had been curious about.

Back then this was the version of the song. Now- 7 years later, it's polished and perfect. Some time things takes time... ;)
@taccamine8312 Жыл бұрын
@@Royaen Actually, at this time her performances were very close to the original recording. Now as a mature, confident and spontanious artist she improvices much more 😊 But one can clearly sence that it was way out of her comfort sone to be interviewed in norways biggest talkshow, back than. She misses being alone in her woods. When she says: "it will be fun". She's just pep talking herself🥰
