I adore that woman like no other. My late grandmother was the biggest part of my world when I was little, and she looked and sounded just like Stritch. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting her twice, and my heart was absolutely shattered when she passed, a link to just about everything wonderful in the theater - gone but never forgotten. This made my day Spiderwoman for so many reasons and I can’t thank you enough for this! Brings tears of joy to my face!

Question about the venue: was this actually in the rainbow room? There's not much about this club on the internet, and I'm genuinely curious

It was the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center. I was lucky enough to be there that night. Margaret Whiting, Judy Kuhn and Jason Grae were the other performers. It was an elegant evening.
