@@linsen8890 Again, if you think giving someone from a different race than my own is being racist you seriously need to learn what being racist actually is! I would love to be able to say that about all races and people but its not true and my statement is quite notoriously true about Asians and their parents. Your welcome to KZbin it there is thousands of videos of Asian's acknowledging the fact they are pushed/driven by their parents to be professional and far more mature than what is expected of say a typical middle class white kid is! I am sorry it hurts your feelings but stating facts is not racist. I just bought the 10w D1 Pro and RA2 rotary tool bundle from MakeBlock on Amazon. This is my 1st laser machine. After figuring out what power and speed to use on the material you’re working with, it is easy to use. I had an issue with the RA2 and Alex from MakeBlock gave me excellent support and kept me notified on what they were doing to correct the problem. I also bought the air assist and honeycomb bed which also comes with a metal plate to put under it to protect your table. I have the extension rails coming that doubles the length of the work area. Thanks for the review.

I found your videos to be very informative, and your "just the facts" format is much appreciated! I'm hoping you could point us in the right direction and/or make a recommendation considering the following: We seek a sub $2,000 Laser Cutter / Engraver to produce our aluminum face plates; either anodized or plain (6061-T651). Although, as much as 25% of our production could include: 303 Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Brass, Copper and if possible some plastics; PVC, Polyethylene, ABS and Kydex. In general our work would involve material thicknesses not exceeding 10mm (0.375"), with approximately 80% of production limited to 4mm (0.125") or less. In many cases, the engraving would be filled with ink, enamel, paint or more exotic materials. We intend to use the machine to cut the outline and "drill" mounting holes. Can you point us in the right direction? Or, alternatively feel free to tell me if what we see is not yet available as a laser machine. Thank you in advance, I look forward to your reply!

Excellent review. I especially appreciate the presentation of facts, read in a mature sounding voice. There are too many reviewers (probably twice your age) who are too fast with equally screechy voices or too slow in their presentation speed and sound like they are mumbling requiring me to raise the volume on my KZbin player. I am excited by these HIGH POWER (20 watt-?) laser modules and wonder if you will ever consider a side by side comparison of the various 20 watt laser modules to each other, independently from their respective machines? Great review, btw!

Nice job! A 20W laser is very dangerous, so it's important to remind people how lethal these can be if appropriate caution isn't taken. Just out of curiosity, have you had any wood catch fire during the engraving process? A suggestion for a future review: review an enclosure for the engraver that contains an internal filter that would eliminate the need to vent to the outdoors.

Hello! I am having issues with my Xtool D1 Pro Laser. I received it and tried it, the first try was perfect. Then the second time I tried it wouldn't work. The laser would move around but the laser light barely had any strength. It would move around as if it was doing the job and would take the amount of time the project would take, however there were no marks on the plywood or anything and the light was very very weak. You could barely see. I emailed customer service and it has now been a 3 month battle or recommendations and changes they want me to make which I have but nothing has solved the issue. I went ahead and tried another laser head which is the one for metals. I did 1 dog tag that came out beautiful. I went ahead and tried to do another dog tag....same thing happened....the light was too weak barely visible, the laser would move around as if it was doing de project but nothing would engrave. I didn't change anything on the setting from first project to second. I was working with pre establish material settings. Power speed and all was verified and still nothing. Do you have any idea what it could be or how to fix it?
