The show was SOLID SOUL It started out in the UK with Shalamar's Jeffrey Daniels as a host (as Soul Train) for one season. Then a London DJ and singer hosted the second series.(Julia Roberts and Chris Forbes). Then it went unhosted until the demise in around 1986/7. I found the music and artistes so much better than TOTP's. I recorded most of them but only have a few of the final years recordings on tape. Thanks for sharing.Starleana was/is HOT!!!!!!

Starleena Young was so fine!!!! Her moves and that outfit hit her curves!!! My cousin who was in the military in Germany when this came out. He told me the song was a big hit over there and when he returned to the states he had the 12 inch disc of it. Here in the States this song wasn't a big hit at all.
