This is your one video I hesitated to click on, fearing for what I was about to watch, but you did well to cover a difficult topic with tremendous sensitivity and respect. I've travelled the world extensively but never been to one of these camps, though I've been to many holocaust museums with similar harrowing content. It serves as a reminder to mankind of what should never be repeated. I'm not sure that humanity will learn its necessary lessons, there remains still so much brutality and barbarity in the world. I remember seeing road signs in Munich for Dachau, another of these camps. When I bought my first house in east London in the mid-90s, a neighbour two doors away said he'd been to Belsen during the war. Sure enough, I remember reading in the history books that it was liberated by British troops. He told me he saw bodies piled up - horrific. You'll remember your visit for years, even decades, to come, as a haunting reminder of how evil mankind can be. This video has also made me stop and think.

Thank you! It was actually a difficult video to make as I did not want to upset anyone so I stuck to my usual way of showing you what I see except what I do not feel appropriate. It is a very difficult place to visit and very emotional. I cannot even put into words the right thing to say to the victims of this horrible place and it is a stark reminder of how evil mankind can be. Makes me shudder still but you are right it will never leave my mind. When I went on my first solo trip I went to Vietnam and Cambodia and one of the places I visited in Cambodia was the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. I have never forgotten how this place made me feel and after that trip I know I became a much humbler person. Another place where you can feel the evil but what I learnt from that was how resilient and strong the Cambodian people are at rebuilding thier country and lives. Really reminded me of just how lucky I am and to never take it for granted.
