We got our Blue Merle at 5 months from a first time dog owner that was in over her head. He’s become an amazing dog! He’s now 9 months old. When we got him he had never been socialized as he lived with a single retired woman. He’d bark terribly at everyone. I take him to work with me everyday where he has gotten used to the 20+ co workers as well as the delivery drivers that are in and out every hour or so. He easily learned to sit, shake, lay down, stand up pretty, and stand n spin ( he will do a 360 while on his back legs ) He is the ultimate goof ball, and hands down the bestest boy

A week after my wife picked him up, I finally got to meet him properly. Took 2 weeks to completely potty train. The only downside is the monthly trip to the groomer, who said she will rehome him for us at any time. Lol, sorry Max is staying with us👍

I have 2 mini Aussiedoodles and I cannot get enough of them. I love Australian shepherds and have 1 but he sheds soooo much. I want more of them. They’re so smart and super cute. 1 thing is that the fur is a lot of work. They shed very little but we had to take them to doggie salon quite often. It costs anywhere from $300-500 each time for both dogs every 4-5 weeks. I finally invested in a doggie grooming kit/table. It was hard to do at first but I’m getting a hang of it. Lol.

I definitely dont agree with him on the fact that they are high energy. A good breeder will only use an Australian sheppard who is from Non Working lines....this makes the pups alot less active and calm. You must ask your breeder if the Australian comes from working dog lines...and stay away from those that do. Im an Aussiedoodle breeder and the most common comment I get is bow relaxed my puplies are.

Just so you know it's really easy to tell when you plagiarize something including many paragraphs in this video. Legit the first two paragraphs are completely ripped from "The Happy Puppy Site; Aussiedoodle - The Australian Shepherd Poodle Mix; Written by Madison Guthrie." (The only reason I know this is because I was researching this breed and came directly from that article to here) Tough luck for you man. Seriously don't do that again. But I bet it happens in every video now.

@LaurenYeager10 ай бұрын
So they shed?
@chloetan2292 жыл бұрын
Agreed that they are not all totally high energy. A pure Aussie Shepherd is high energy and the doodle is less so. Then it depends on whether the poodle is a toy, mini or standard, and if it’s bred from. Working dog line. By breeding it from a non working dog line with one of the smaller poodles, it will be less energetic. All puppies are energetic but settle down after puppy hood. What also helps is obedience training from a young age. Aussiedoodles and Aussie shepherds are named as great therapy dog and injured folk especially those in wheelchairs cannot control hyper and over active dogs, which again clearly indicates that it’s a combination of breeding from the right gene pool and training.

They also all look diffrent. You may get some blue Merle ones or plain ones or tri colour, and they shed a fair bit (not excessive tho), or at least the ones with more shepherd then poodle do, so you will need to get them trimmed if you live in a hot climate

Great another upcoming doodle breed smh first the cockapoo, then the labradoodle, followed by the golden doodle... cant people at least get creative when attempting to create a “designer breed”. Just adopt from the shelters the closest breed that would even be considered a breed is the goldendoodle even then it’s iffy you need multiple generations to establish a breed along with regulations if height, temperament, and body proportion. Meshing two dogs together just creates a mutt unpopular opinion I know but a purebred has to be recognized and worked on for generations smh #adoptdontshop
@benweikert65124 жыл бұрын
This is not a breed. Most of these are produced by puppy mills! Please get a real purebred, predictable, purposeful dog from a responsible breeder that has health tested parents or from a shelter.
@enoughtimetug3 жыл бұрын
There are tons of puppy mills and backyard breeders producing “purebred” dogs and mixed breeds with zero regard to genetics or temperament. There are many good doodle breeders who test for genetic issues as well as temperament. It’s not true that most come from puppy mills. Everyone is entitled to select a dog of their choice from their desired source, including shelters.
