For me the game is finished when you can look at the map after game and when you can select colours. But the current patch is already a good improvement.

Beasty knew the opponent was low ranked, so he just tower rushed him to end the game fast.

XARDAScoh - Check my profile. I play only Chinese in 1v1s .... started to play 1v1s 3 days ago and reached top600 already :D ... Altough my approach to this strat is really different from Beastys one ... Its strong .... you delay your opponent while u can boom up behind or u can go full commit and beat enemy already in Feudal. Its problem only against ENG + Mongols because of obvious reasons :)

This wasn’t an even match; beastyqt could have played the fairy princess civilization and achieved the same results. The fact that you think Chinese players don’t understand their own advantages and haven’t used this strategy quite specifically against mongol rushes two patches ago is hilarious and indicates to me that you also haven’t figured out that the way to beat bombard spam is by taking out the Chinese while they are still infantile and useless in Feudal. Don’t project your own incompetence on Chinese players.

It was honestly worth a try. I'm sort of disappointed that we didn't see the attempt as it is one of the things that is supposed to make the Mongol's unique.. His eco was already taking a huge hit, so maybe if it isn't viable here (obviously high level players would have a better idea) shows that there needs to be some more changes to actually MAKE it viable.

Not really indicative for the whole meta as the skill gap was relatively large (not saying the opponent was a bad player just not up there with beasty). Usually, Mongol should have been more aggressive which prevents vills crossing the map (remember, he spotted the vills in the middle of the map, so should have been fine if he had more troops)

I don't understand why a significant portion of Drongo's commentary is critique of the players. They are usually alot better than him, I think most of the time they would have compelling reasons for what they do.
