Great Pit Stop Vas 😜!!!! I almost bought this body atleast 3 different times 👀. Great to see a detailed breakdown about it 👌. Not sure why the consumer should have to tweak it to fit properly though. This is strange, I swapped a body I had painted for a brand new brute armour body. Same part number as yours. I remembered this video and thought, cook! I got them body mounts. But mine fitted on the V4. Just needed to make the holes a tiny bit bigger. I wonder if they have changed the production maybe? Anyway I'm still to make it fit properly and I did notice I need to do the other modifications as you did. Cheers for great videos. /Per

That's the last body you'll ever need to buy for the Kraton! Stinks that Pro-line didn't consider the revised body mounts Arrma is using, but still seems like a nice upgrade 👍🏻👍🏻.

its beneficial to oblong all 4 post holes a little . it will allow for flex even with the t2t bracing it will still flex when jumping and bashing. without a little room to move the body can tear rip or crack ...yes even these " unbreakable " bodys ...

You can paint it black on the inside to give it more of a solid colour, rather than the default see through colour.

The body looks opaque so I guess you could paint it inside and have a little bit of color showing through. Just a tint maybe. Great video Vas 👍

Great instructional video - I hope Pro-Line sent this to you, because you're doing them a big favor! Do you have any idea what would be required to mount this on a Talion v3? You mention it's for the Kraton v3 (not v4), so I think the rear posts will be fine. But would you need the Kraton body mounts, front shock mount (and then perhaps shocks as well)?

The brute bash armor is an awsome body I had all those problems and I also had a problem with my front A arms hitting the bodys wheel arches everytime I took a corner with a small bump in it so i had to dremel those too but a sweet body nonetheless just wish I'd seen your vid before i bought mine would of saved me alot of headache 👊👊👊

Proline really needs to make more bash armor colors and body styles available, Or even clear... I’m sure somebody could figure out a clear formula for the plastic these days 👍🏻 I KNOW as soon as I pull the trigger on one of these bodies more colors will be announced 😂

Good vid, Vas. Do you still have your V3 Kraton? If so does the body just drop straight on no issue (just to completely rule out any tiny variation between the 3&4 if they exist) A bit disappointing from Proline otherwise IMO

I do still have the V3, but I modified the posts to fit a Beetle body on it, so couldn't use that as the example unless I swapped out the posts on that car. To my knowledge, the V3 and V4 should be the same aside from the body posts, as far as fitting the body on goes. I think this is just a small oversight from Proline and I'm sure they will fix it soon. Even specifying that this body belongs to the V3 on the lable was something I brought to their attention as they didn't seem to know or didn't realize they were different. 😉

Good to see you back vas! I own one of these that I never used because I sold my kraton thinking I would buy a v4 eventually. This irritates the sh!t out of me. For what these cost you would think that the qc would be better. You shouldn't be having to do all of that after the purchase. Poor design in my opinion. I have the pro mt and xmaxx versions and its a pain to put on. I don't know if its in the heat or molding process but they're all very snug underneath. I've never had that issue with the Russian unbreakable bodies. In my opinion if you can wait the Russian bodies are superior. I wish that wasn't the case as proline is an American company and they're not too far from where I live but it's an inferior product to the Russian bodies. Sorry for the long message, good overview and showing the issues you went through. Also the body came out about a month before the v4 were announced. So most definitely for v3 and earlier.

Rest assured that all this info has gone back to Proline for them to hopefully improve on these little annoyances. And I have faith that they will make improvements and correct these imperfections in the future. I guess for now, I have done what I can to show what needs to be done to make these fit and hopefully helped out some people. 😊👍

I bought one of these for my Outcast 6s and it CRACKED on one corner where the rear shock tower is on the FIRST RUN. These bodies are a POS. I'm done with them.
