That body post hole situation is also evident in baby-infraction (14301), I reemed it out with 6mm drill bit. Then again, Citroen body was ok out the box, so whoever from MJX is in charge of the body post holes on the bodies, get your s*it together:) Great cars, love them all!<3

It's bonkers fast on 3S. Need to firm up the rear suspension quite a bit, the standard setting is too soft to handle the power. But it's a whole lot of fun at a reasonable price in the UK.

The tires on the Talion looks just like some I got off a sale a few weeks ago on aliexpress and they are really good on my Muraco, especially for $25 for a full set. I actually ordered another set as spares today.

That's at least better than those trash snake oil lipo charging "fireproof" bags. Anyone who uses those bags needs to do a 1 minute KZbin search and watch 2-3 videos to see how those bags do exactly jack shit when a lipo does a thermal runaway inside of them. Those bags are scams, but worse, they fool people into thinking they are safer. Look, i love paying money for safety precautions (sort of) but I'm a thrifty bastard, too, so i did my research before buying one, to find the best performing bag at a decent price. Well, none of those bags do anything but a performance art piece called "catching fire" They don't prevent fires, they don't contain fires, they don't reduce chances of fire, they won't protect Jack or Shit. Please if you use those bags, and especially if you recommend those bags to friends, watch these videos, they're easy to find. The bags, they do nothing. Worse than wasting your money, they instill a false sense of security.

SOmeone mentioned it will get hot if you don't change stuff to fit if using 3s? :) And stuff breaking more easily, not even from hitting stuff but just. Well with higher gearing. Lower gearing probably also give more grip? :)

That looks like good indoor fun, costing only as much as a set of Felony tires, plus a receiver. PS: I'm not bragging, BTW. I can only afford to take my Felony out on special occasions, because the tires only last maybe 80 minutes on 4s, which severely limits my practice time.

Yeah, unfortunately cheaper batteries C rating claims are usually incorrect. I like Ovonic, i use one of their chargers, but Ovonic batteries are budget batteries like Hoovo and Zeee, and their C ratings can't be completely trusted. My 4s Zeee "80C" battery in my Felony will cut out sometimes, and Felony only requires 50C batteries, so Zeee probably claimed twice the C rating to sell more batteries. I like Ovonic, but i wouldn't be surprised if they use similar selling tactics. Budget lithium batteries is a very competitive market, abd they wouldn't sell as many batteries if they didn't do SOMETHING different. That's better than lying about the capacity, which can result in swelling or fires, if you're charging at 1C.

You forgot to mention a key point which might make the Sale...Hex Screws.

Look, Traxxas make good vehicles, but i can't get excited about proprietary tire locking systems and propriety battery compartments designed to force you into buying only Traxxas crap. It's like Apple: they want to be your main sugar daddy and you can't have any hoes on the side. That's not how i roll.

The Servo in the MJX are crap 💩 they don't last long !!

I just picked up one after watching several demos...id rather spend $80 for it the way it is and add my own shocks ..than pay $100 to have them install there oil shocks..15 min upgrade.

Awesome review Vas. MJX are doing some really good little cars of late. You're right that body shell is really nicely done. Lights with all the options like that were really hard to achieve only a few years ago...now look at them lol. Looks like a little ripper. Wonder if it'll take 3s? You know for the crazies out here lol.

I was looking at this last month. Got a Felony instead. Nice body shell, nice lights. Tires $15 american for four, it's a great deal as long as the spur gear doesn't strip in a month like the 14301 spur gear. Powder metal gears with no steel option. That's my big beef. My 14301 sits on my shelf because of those stupid spurs.
