I love my Tenacity DB Pro. I knew ot wasnt a speed demon going in but i just wanted something magageble that hamdled well and that it does. Of o kist want apeed I'll go toy Arrma Typhon TLR tuned 6s which to be honest os a bit of a handful at 6s speeds. The Tenacity was a good choice given what you said in thos post. I know its a really old post bit o hope you're happy with it. With all that sand around o would probably also get something woth more power and paddle tires to rip around the sand but i dont know yoir budget. You shouldn't ne unhappy with the Losi.

I have both. I prefer the Xmaxx for stunts and quicker backflips. I prefer the XRT for quick turns and long distance jumps. The XRT is easier to work on too when it comes to changing out the reciever and motor.

FB-Dis is their dedicated discharge function with an external dc battery source, and possibly also one of those massive custom resistor chains that people build, to rapidly discharge a battery at up to 12 amps compared to the 3 amps (approximately) that the unit usually discharges at. It's for dedicated rapid discharge under DC-DC power. Hope that makes sense, my electrical knowledge is quite mookiestinks yukyuk pooey dumdum.

The manual for one of the Jetwood also did not mention the ESC button press full power mode. I wonder if there are two different ESCs in play, one with and one without? It would certainly make the Jetwood a lot less interesting if this was true.

If you need to apply heat to a screw to melt threadlock you can use a soldering iron. Saves melting surrounding plastic and what not. Love the video

I got the V2 yesterday, the steering servo gears stripped in about 5 minutes. luckily I had a spare, while swapping it out I figured might as well swap out the receiver and controller. Now seems to be running great. was happy to see it come with spare arms and hubs also.

Im going to upgrade the steering assembly for my brushless Mojave Grom, its very similar to this but a bit more of a faff.

I've been searching for anyone upgrading their HPI Jumpshot Flux RC car and can't find anything at all. I've already ordered the aluminium shock set and a new 22kg servo. I'd love to see a full upgrade on the Jumpshot - If you can get HPI to send you the bits for that, would be awesome
