@jamesprice4647 It should not be forgiven or forgotten. Over 200,000 ill and disabled people have died as a direct result of the Tories' obsession with austerity. They, along with the media, hounded sick people over the country's woes when they should have been blaming themselves and bankers. Then, there were two UN reports, under two different Conservative PM's, condemning the Tories treatment of disabled people which they disregarded along with the media.

So, nothing at all to do with the longest period of Austerity imposed in Europe as a reaction to the 2008 financial crash, resulting in essential services being systematically defunded in real terms to the point of falling apart, actual infrastructure falling apart, taxes at a 70 year high with nothing to show for it, and a country as a whole feeling more and more like a third world country outside of London where nothing works anymore, but so long as GDP line goes up it's still all good.

Therapy, not policy: The Toris have to decide wether they want to continue their current path towards an ugly Maga mob à la Farage, or if they want to earn a place at the adults-table. It will be difficult! No booze parties! Alcohol detox comes with unpleasant withdrawal symptoms, and the rehab demands full commitment! It requires painstaking processes of personal growth and rebuilding social contacts, which are indispensable to regain the ability to function in society! As challenging as that is, there is the daunting task of addressing the Tori party's deep rooted culture of domestic abuse, even substantiated in criminal records. In sum, this won't be a matter of political program. It will be a matter of therapy.

The key factor is missing from the item - Ukraine. Look at what is happening all over Europe. Every single party or leader that has supported Project Ukraine is in trouble, victims of the Zelensky curse. Why? Sanctions have boomeranged against the 🇬🇧 and 🇪🇺 economies causing high energy costs and food inflation leading to deindustrialization. Also, people see €100bns going on weapons to Ukraine to get blown up. It's not a direct reason. It's not generally known that the sanctions have caused the downturn, but the downturns so caused have caused the collapse in popularity of Macron, Scholz and Sunak. So, even though Starmer supported everything that caused the economic woes in the UK, as people don't know about the kink, he's not affected by the Zelensky curse yet, but he soon will be as the same policies will continue and it will be him at the helm. Also, we prevented Ukraine agreeing peace via BoJo in April 2022 and the decision to fight Russia has been a spectacular disaster as NATO is proving no match for Russia. So, Ukraine is collapsing and the collapse will happen under Starmer and he's left holding the baby. Sunak is well out of it
@Abraham-uk4xy

We didn't decide to fight Russia, they are the invaders, they crossed the border, not the opposite. There is no peace possible, Putin wants much more than the actual territory he has taken, he wants Ukraine as a Bielarus 2. We did nothing after the invasion of Crimea, and see the result. Putin just wants to restore the Soviet Union, "Russia to be a great power again". If you think he's gonna stop if we give him 20% of Ukraine's territory, you are very naive.

Tony Blair's Centrist Labour wholeheartedly supported our highly unethical economic system which was implemented by the Tories back in the early 80's, a economic system which is not only corrupt but at the mercy of markets and their manipulators. When the economy was about to crash Brown did what every Tory politician would have done which is to use public funds to prevent the banks from collapsing under a economic system put in place by the Tories. Secondly, Blair raised funding for the large scale modernisation of the way public services are accessed; Blair also raised funds to fully fund public services; and he also raised funds for major infrastructure projects which benefited the public, as well as various industries. Lastly Blair also raised U.K.'s standing on the global stage; whereas what the Tories have done is the diametric-opposite.

Unfortunately, Brexit was never 'done'. We are still pandering to the unelected mandarins of the EU. That was the start of the demise of the Tories for me.

@@swally291 if you believe that we have left the EU, it is you that is the fool. All we left are the benefits and we took the crap and kept it. For example, try and buy a vacuum cleaner over 1 kilowatt - you can't, just one EU directive that we kept.

Cameron, smart? 🤣; like ALL Tories he is utterly ignorant especially about underprivileged people. He wholeheartedly supports our highly unethical economic system which can only thrive on the exploitation of the lowest paid workers, rising inequality, debt, and poverty; plus he is totally against introducing a genuine Living Wage. Like ALL Tories Cameron deserves to suffer a fate that is infinitely worse than spending an eternity in Hell.
