in the 90's people said i was crazy spending time hunting down factory sills for my vp1300 when i could buy cover panels for a tenner a side. 30 years on the car is still rust free. if owners had spent the time and money having the job done correctly as is done here more of these great cars would have survived. i suspect the popularity of cover sills is due to the fact that they run the full length of the car where as the genuine panels only reach to halfway along the rear door, the rest of the sill is actually part of the rear wing! great channel, keep up the good work👍

Sorry Geoff, the majority of my videos people tend to skip the actual work, so I just tried sort of before and after. If you have a look at the spitfire video I've just uploaded there's loads of real work in that and the subsequent episodes I need to edit
