The most heartfelt and humble acceptance speech I’ve ever heard. His thankfulness and gratitude for everyone is just overwhelming. I think we are going to see a lot more of this young man but I’m not sure if any future performance will eclipse this one of Elvis. Ok hold on… As much as I love this movie and Elvis himself, 50 years is a damn long time. We are talking anything after 1973… there was Philadelphia, green mile, forest gump, very recently Joker… the greatest movie ever is a little too much. I don’t even think there is such a thing as greatest movie ever. Let’s just say Elvis is a fantastic biopic. But best movie ever? Especially the 90s were full of legendary movies

I'm a very proud UK Elvis fan of 45yrs. When I went to see the movie, I really didn't think anyone you pull off such a complex role, not just the looks, the moves, style, the voice and charisma. Elvis had it all. Butler crawled into the very essense of Elvis, my mind was blown. I've seen the movie 4 times now, took family and friends and they all felt the same. Baz and his incredible vision and artistry and Austins' literal poseession of Elvis was a supernatural experience. If Austin doesn't get the Oscar for best actor and Baz the Director the fix is in. Bravo to all the team. Now Baz, get those TTWII and On Tour reels mastered and makes Warner the return on their investment and make a dream come true for the fans. Solidify Elvis reputaion with this amazing footage from 70/72 that only you should be allowed to master and edit. There will never be a better time. The WORLD Loves & Respects Elvis more than ever and largely thanks to this iconic movie and performances.

I’m SO HAPPY that Austin won!!! I saw this film three times in at the cinema this past summer and purchased the DVD as soon as it came out. Next to the incredible Elvis Presley, no one embodied him better than Austin and he has remained humble through all the accolades. When he mentioned his mum and Elvis, tears fell from my eyes 🥹 Thanks to this movie and Austin's portrayal of Elvis Presley I got really fascinated by his personality, apperance and music. I can't imagine a day without Elvis' song, now. He became a great inspiration to me because of his big heart and commitmemt to his fans. He is and always will be the greatest artist of all times. It's just heartbreaking how fame and business finished him off. Anyway, Austin deserves this award and more recognition. You can see that he put his whole heart into this role, just like Elvis always did into his performances.
