It's crazy. I don't like it tbh. I don't mind high school kids wrestling college guys. But it's very limited. By that I mean, the best kids wrestle and practice with college nat Champs at Nittany club, and good for those kids. But all the high school kids who wrestle against them in matches don't have that opportunity. And never will. I wrestled a few kids who wrestled Nittany lion club . Different level. Lost 12-3 and 14-1. I always felt the situations like that, lock out a lot kids who could be at that level if they got to wrestle college d1 guys at practice. I don't want to say it's unfair, as the kids earned their opportunity to mingle and rub shoulders with the college wrestlers. But I do feel it's not a level playing field for the high school kids who don't have that access. Or the resources for their parents to build them a wrestling room or gym or year round camps. Makes it very weird when guys who are basically already ncaa champions or placewinners , are wrestling Jim bob with a 6-15 record, from Juniata valley in high school duals. And now they got kids who are 19 years old , ncaa national qualifier level, as a high school 11th grader. Dude gonna be 21 when he gets to college. I don't like it because I don't view it as a fair sporting competition. Like a 10th grader going back to wrestle 5th graders. It's soft really

Exactly what I'm wondering. Desanto is offensive the whole mach and he gets called. Forrest, nothing but pass by attempts and doesn't get called. It's backwards to what it should be. It's just one of the reasons I consider freestyle lame compared to folk style.
