James, you have some serious courage to keep blowing your horn regarding the blatant disregard of their own rules during the 2021 race in Abu Dubai. They being the FiA and F1/Liberty Media Inc., of course. So yesterday’s race in Austin, TX definitely added more fuel to the fire with the inconsistent application of rules upon the 20 guys racing on the track. The commentary was pissing me off so much I had to turn the volume down to nil to keep from wanting to throw things are the screen every few minutes. So I find I spend a lot of time browsing thru the driver camera feeds vs listening to the F1 TV “experts” yap on and on about how the great chosen one is “uncompromising” and setting the standard for the “late lunge” in a given corner. Except anytime any other driver on the grid does the same thing they are almost immediately penalized for such driving. WTF is this new Bs being foisted upon us all? Bless LeClerc for being ready to pounce on the first turn predicting correctly that Maxipad and Norris would likely get into some sort of scuffle as they round the turn. He prediction paid off well as he went zipping right thru and past them both into P1 where he would remain for the remainder of the race. I support what you are doing and hope that you stay safe, sane and satisfied that at the end of the day you can sleep with the decisions you’ve made during the day each day.

Anthony Davidson did a really interesting analysis of the race and overtake. Be interested in your thoughts. You've got some interesting stuff to say, the fact focused approach is good, but you are equally in danger of sounding like a rambling conspiracy theorist.

@ambrella6631 and that's fine, but he has this conflict in his approach between facts and conspiracy. I find his analytical evidence based approach interesting, I don't find the conspiracy laden venting interesting. I'm giving feedback, if he adapts his approach and gets more focused he'll generate more viewers and make a bigger impact, which ultimately is the goal of the channel.

But what I also heard was someone fed up of people coming on here belittling what he is trying to do for their ends. I've been listening from the beginning, so i know, and he was/ is ssying all i wanted to say without the ability. You have channels like Peter Windsor Quick Stop. and dare I say Cameron, whose posts are well over an hour long speaking nothingness. One man's conspiracy is another man's truth.

Not entirely sure I agree with him that it was the whole sport conspiring against Lewis, because that's too many people for it not to get out. FIA and new ownership wanting a result and not to finish behind safety car, yes, hence the contrived finish. Utterly disgraceful, but the media and all the teams and drivers in on it? 'Threatening' or warning someone that there will be a consequence for their actions is not a crime in any way. There is no threat of violence or physical harm, and no incitement of anyone else to perpetrate such a thing. I WILL see Benson face to face one day, and will ensure that he receives the appropriate justice for his crimes. Perpetrators will not get away with abuse.

I personally feel it is the outside line car that comes off worse, but I have no clue as to what percentage that has happened. I may be wrong as the wheels and tyres not being covered by bodywork may give a totally different result. Keep up your great work 👍🏼🚀

I'm gonna post this on both this thread and the 'Verstappen Rules' Video, RE: the late penalty. OK here's my (with hindsight) two pence. The stewards were correct in penalising Norris for overtaking off the track, It was clear, it's a slam dunk. The stewards failed to penalise Verstappen for missing the apex and thereby crowding his opponent off the track. It was clear it was a slam dunk. The stewards failed in the thought that this was a binary decision. Both drivers needed to be investigated, and both drivers penalised. Charlie Whiting would have applied discretion and not penalised either driver. I'm not sure which of those options would have applied rule 1.1.1 the most correctly; I lean toward the latter.

I guess I just follow F1 for what it is and I don’t think I need a channel that is negative all the time. I hope for the best and also hope you can enjoy a race again. I am sure at your first experience you enjoyed F1 for what it was. Now you only see the problems. Maybe you should follow grassroots racing or kids go cart racing I think you will find corruption in anything that is competitive.

No offense but for the first 9 minutes i was about to close this post down all this is a rant. Cut to the point of the title. Stop droning on. OK let`s carry on you showed an Image of where Verstappen & Norris where on the track after the first corner. DID you show the video NO. just for clarity i`m not a Verstappen fan boy so if you had shown the start and going to after the first corner you would have a different opinion of what happened. Yes to correct you Max got to the first corner on the inside to take that bend then went to the outside to take the driving line, Lando left enough room to do so. Please go look at the race Highlights you will see that Lando ran wide and put himself off the track he was not forced off. Now here we go So on lap 52 here we see a typical Max Move don`t bother to try to make the bend just go straight and force the other driver off the track again check the video. Did Lando come back onto the track in front yes he did. did he have a choice yeah Run into the side of max and take him out and that`s what would have happened if Lando was that kind of person. His Penalty was Astonishing. Look if your going to have a go then provide all evidence to back it up,images are just not enough.

I'd say Red Bull have the ear of the FIA more than McLaren do really, they both crossed the white line and they either both should be punished, or deemed a racing incident. and no I'm not a Lando fan, I think he's a bit of a whinger. but I do believe in fairness and what the FIA dished out was not fair at all.

@@Querientje that's not the point I was making as JB said, it's the rule that is wrong, Max isn't stupid, he played the situation well, I prefer Max over LN, but the rule isn't fair and isn't conducive for good overtaking in that situation, I mean the apex on that corner does depends on how you approach the bend.
