In this video, we finally got an exhaust system put on the bike! Back when the new gen R1 was released in 2015 I saw a video of an Austin Racing exhaust on the bike that blew me away. I started watching every AR video I could find and new that one day I needed to have one of their exhausts on a bike. Raw looks, chest ripping sound, and performance to back it up. After getting my 2020 S1000RR, I reached out and they were eager to partner with me on the build. Once developement finished, they sent out the first produced full system, a GP1R with black silencer and inconel headers. Check out the vid for the full install and sound comparison!

I wanted something that I felt was unique and didn't see everywhere. Now I know why I don't see them they act like they're building spaceships not exhaust pipes LOL

I have the same exhaust without the baffles on my RSV4 RR and it is VERY loud. loud to the point that I shut the engine off and cost into my driveway from a block away to spare my direct neighbours. The sound from idling all the way to opening it wide open is just unreal

In Vietnam, more than 80% of the BWM S1000RR cars from 2014 to now have Austin Racing exhaust because it gives a powerful howls and especially when gearing up and releasing the gas, they hear the backfire

The beauty and function of the AR is in stark contrast to the seat. The blue accent strip sits on top of the red from the front fender to the tail piece. Except the seat; the red sits on top........

Make sure you wear ear plugs because if its not the wind then it'll be that exhaust that'll mess your herring up. Austin makes sick exhaust systems btw

Hell yeah! Austin Racing makes some beautiful exhausts. They even make a full system for my 2019 Ninja 650. I really think I'm going with their exhaust when I install one this winter. Definitely the first mod id love to do while we're in the off season here in the frozen Northeast 😀

Dude i have an older model R1 like your old one 13 to be exact. I was so torn between the toce and AR but in the end went with toce because i wanted to keep the undertail exhaust look. Making me 2nd guess that decision lol sounds freaking amazing man!!!!

Motonosity that exhaust is sick! Only for the best bike out there, the S1000RR. I have the full AR system on my 2011 BMW with the baffle removed as well and it is stupid loud! (Mine breathes fire as well🔥🔥🔥 except they are blue) Also say goodbye to riding with headphones haha. I have to ride with ear foamies in and after you get it screaming to about 13k rpm on the freeway you'll make that same decision.

Just noticed you didn’t have the little springs from your headers let alone the mounting locations. Lucky😂 I didn’t even think I needed to put springs on mine because the flange mounts held the pipe to the block but I did it anyway and it was a PITA.

Inconel is some hard material to work with. I just put a Yoshimura on my bike, and these videos DO NOT do any justice to the sound. These exhausts are a lot louder in person than in these videos. Congratulations dude. You have a beautiful bike but was sitting on some bullshit with that stock exhaust. Now it's complete. Well as far as the sound goes.
