@@Herosennin I’m sure that that’s not what the rule changed. I think offensive players can’t initiate or jump into a defender, their space included. If a defender doesn’t give room for the player to land I think it’s still a foul. The only time it’s not is if the shooter is trying to force themselves into the defender and the defenders space.

@@Herosennin since when? The NBA should be protecting players before and after their release. Especially after, given you're more likely to injure a jump shooter already in motion. Its not like he did the D Wade where he pump faked and jumped into the defender which is an unnatural jump shot motion, he literally went straight up and down haha. Just goes to show that its sports entertainment sometimes more than a sports league. I remember curry getting fouled on a 3pt game winner with 1 second left, seems as though the ref's are instructed not to call it so the other team can force overtime. Complete bs. That is a foul at any other point in the game, guaranteed.
