The world is much like it always was: people are running away from responsibility and moral behavior. I think we are just much more aware of it because of the internet and social media. Because people can hide behind anonymity, they express what they really believe more frequently and as such we can see how immoral people really are. I really appreciate that there is at least on person out there campaigning for moral responsibility. I like that Jordan Peterson explains very clearly his REASONS why people should seek to be moral and even "noble" as he puts it, because too much of the dialogue I see online revolves around money, sex, and immediate gratification. He doesn't sound like he's sermonizing, but rather he's arguing for good, common sense so people are armed against life's calamities.

Never forget these fools see this as a power struggle, a war on "oppression", and as the saying goes "all is fair in love and war" they seem to live by this with zero sense of honour or integrity. A pretty good way to see how the interviewer/show will be is how they refer to Dr Peterson, if they simply call him an academic or his name they are usually against him, If they refer to him as Doctor or professor they are either relatively neutral or in favour of him.

@magnuschadwickpaulson55113 жыл бұрын
@@grandadmiralthrawn9231 Actually, most intersectional feminists will tell you that women being abused in Eastern countries does not in any way negate or "cancel out" women being abused differently in western countries. It's not an either/or. Women are abused quite differently depending on the culture, that should be obvious- but you are all missing it, as usual. Ms. Jordan-a Peterson is saying "since lung cancer is more deadly than breast cancer, breast cancer is not bad at all and people with breast cancer shouldn't whine and bother doctors about it- it's not like they have lung cancer". Anybody with 2 brain cells to rub together can see that this is a strawman's fallacy. Unfortunately very few of Ms. Jordan-a Petersons's followers HAVE 2 brain cells and so they miss that entirely. Simple truth is I think logic has been curtailed and in its place is this emotionally charged out of control hysteria, I have just finished watching several of his videos so if I am sounding like Jordan I didn't intend to, where logic is more or less a luxury that gets thrown aside whenever the logic isn't working for you but against you. Militant atheism is a classic example of this. If the atheist isn't winning the argument logically then he resorts to troll tactics. I see anti- Christian groups doing the exact same thing in the exact same way. Look at how keyboard jihadis are going after guys like David Wood. It's sad because the whole purpose of logic is to create a method to get at the truth in many ways debaters should be looking forward to being wrong because yeah you had a set back in your conclusions but you got one step closer to the truth even if it's not a truth you would prefer it is still a truth.

Actually it's kind of the opposite. But you have to know the answers to their questions, and the reasons they're correct, to understand what Peterson isn't saying. He knows these women aren't evil harpies trying to twist reality into a cock and ball torturporium, and he also knows his audience of (not smart) fans don't know this. In fact, they probably don't even think these woman are like.. normal? Human? Probably think they're Goblins, most likely. So when the women scoff as he pushes back first, and sometimes explains after, he scores a tiny win in the hearts of his fantasy enthusiasts. Then they buy his books and send him money (directly, not smart).

I've seen MULTIPLE interviews now with Jordan Peterson, and it's incredible that the three same things occur EVERY TIME! 1. They ask him completely stupid, baited questions to try and trap him. 2. They don't listen to what he says, and repeat themselves after the answer was clearly given. 3. They interrupt him, and repeat 1 and 2. It's actually fascinating how calm he stays, and by contrast how stupid, and ignorant the people are that challenge him in an interview.

Watching Jordan repeatedly being interrupted and spoken to in a condescending way is a clear example of “womansplaining” as defined by those that accuse men of “mansplaining”.
@Yorikoification2 жыл бұрын
Womansplaining doesn't exist in the vocabulary as its not seen as something negative. Being loud and assertive is a sort of vengeance for all the "years of silence". Not being able to vote, not having an influence in politics etc etc. It's simply petty the way feminists acts in a lot of things. I used to call myself a feminist too but I left that shit years ago when I started listening to people who didn't share those beliefs and looked at how the world actually is.
@Intelligentdeath20022 жыл бұрын
@@Yorikoification Years of silence as if they lived in that era to actually allow them to become loud and assertive towards men in a disrespectful manner. @Emily Kovac There is a simple strategy to follow in situations like this. Keep your mouth closed, you might learn something. Now, this is not a gendered sentence, it applies to all of us. Another one is to presume that the person you are talking with knows more than you, so listen. There is another one, if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull. I think all three can be a lesson here.
