You can’t be sad, mate. 3/10 Australians fall victim to drop bear attacks every year, and half of them die. It’s just part of living in Australia, and Ralph accepted that. The best we can do is support his brother until the huntsmen crawl into the house and carry his body away, and then see how the channel’s going. Just have some chockie bickies till then, and she’ll be right.

If you have gamepass GET THIS GAME. If you don’t wait for a sale. Def worth $40 and there is a solid 9month roadmap for the game in store. This sort of game deserves a player base. It’s unique and fun and out of the box. Play it and don’t stop till you’ve at least seen your first ten man raid.

My biggest gripe about the game is the fact is that there isn’t any specific information or a detailed description of the exosuits. I’m a big fan of knowing the numbers, or the nuances and little tidbits that a character can do.

I was extremely sceptical about this game but its surprisingly fun and a breath of fresh air in this year of buggy/unoptimized/unfinished game releases. The only 2 thing its missing are being able to invite cross platform friend atm and mouse + keyboard support on console (yeah i dont prefer playing shooters with a controller).

Did a great job capturing the general cadence and tone of Skillup's reviews (I imagine editing these things and crafting that tone/cadence helps quite a bit) but at the same time making it feel like your own thing. It's a smooth transition that was handled really well. Would be cool to see more once Ralph is back, maybe on games that he decided to pass on due to time constraints or interest but Austin wanted to give a go.

Just a point. If you get the game on game pass, you are not matched with Steam players. This playerpool is much larger. This also means you do the higher missions way more than the early ones

Honestly this game is my favorite live service game to date. The gameplay loop is so fun, I honestly love the progession system, because it's different. I like how it slowly adds more and more gamemodes, dinos, and crazy horde events and boss fights as you go. The final boss is especially epic. It keeps every match feeling fresh and exciting. Im fully addicted to this game, and it seems like they have plans to support the game and add new content consistently. Excited for the future!

I think this game wouldn't face any danger of shut down soon if the Live Service landscape wasn't so saturated. It's to justify keeping your servers running when you can't garner more than a couple hundreds or thousand players as you All-time Peak player count. I'm having fun with Exoprimal, but I won't deny that I'm afraid it already has its days numbered if it doesn't go on a deep discount or the F2P-route sooner than later.

As someone who’s played around 50 games and has sunk some decent time into the game I’d really recommend giving it a shot if you have game pass. The more you play the more the game opens up and it’s really fun. Definitely wouldn’t spend $60 on it though 😂

Out of curiosity. The special events that Austin said here like the Raptor Swarm or the T-Rex raid -- are these one-time events for the story or do they actually happen randomly as part of multiplayer/PvE/PvP lobbies?

I'm glad i played through this but after the final mission I just wanted more of the same. It's really a game with phenomenal potential i feel that is currently held back by poor decisions. Absolutely love this game. 50 hours deep. Over 200 matches. Theres so much more fun to be had in the late game. I hope people can get past the early game and see whats its really all about. Its worth noting the variety ramps up and everything is more a challenge playing with all high levels.

It is so unfortunate he only got the raid boss and gigantic swarms a handful of times. I get them almost every three rounds, I rarely get the payload. At this point I'm thankful when I do for a break

i think it has to do with when he played it. hes right in that the system accounts for LCD progression, and enough people have progressed to have more variety in the game

I am fucking in love with this game. I am hooked. I love how they roll out new content as you play, and the fact i can play a game and earn currency to buy upgrades/cosmetics is refreshing. It's not hey you want currency then give me $20 or play for 3,000 hours. The gameplay loop is my shit.

For real man same here, they are very generous with rewards for gameplay. Im player level 67 and I already have like 5-6 legendary skins and a slew of epics just from gameplay. I love how it almost feels like a roguelike game at times because of the randomized missions. People hating on this game just gotta have a little patience with it. I honestly think it has a great monetization plan, considering how egregious most games are nowadays.

Yeah as somebody playing this on game pass, I think it's been a very different story- Still getting plenty of matches with lower level players, BUT seeing the more varied things later on are a lot more frequent. Game pass is definitely doing a lot for the game's stability, and I really think not implementing some manner of cross platform between xbox and steam really hurts steam users currently, until there's a good enough sale for those of us on game pass to fully buy in. Also god damn Austin, amazing job taking over for some reviews. You feel right at home, and it's hilarious how well you match Ralph's style while still doing your own thing.

I decided to go against my judgement and pick the game up because a couple friends were playing it and I figured I’d try it out. I don’t regret anything about this decision, it’s one of those games when you need to play it for it to “click”.

I am not sure i really agree with the graphics. Yes they aren't anything special, but it still looks good enough. The performance is also great. The levels not being full of details is honestly something i like, because the gameplay is rather fast so you dont really have time to look at it anyway. So this was honestly a good decision because in turn you have great visibility and you don't get stuck on random things every 3 meters, like in some other games. Its always clear where to go and whats ahead and thats why i think the visuals do their job pretty well. At best i would wish for a more crazy particle system. Also the matches not evolving as hoped is to be expected or else you have new players never finding any matches because everyone else is so far ahead already. Capcom however did announce they are working on player feedback, so i hope for an "average team level" to dynamically adjust the difficulty. I am personally really excited for the future content and i hope the game can establish a stable playerbase. I do agree though that its not worth 60$ right now.
