If you're not 6'7 or didn't have a profile in middle school you're going to get slept on. Damian Lillard dominated high school. Went to Weber State. CJ Mccollum dominated high-school. Went to Lehigh. Steph Curry dominated high-school. Went to Davidson.

He was good. Well trained, and due to his dad, ahead of his peers in TRAINING. As we have all seen before in , for example, little league, where is he when the athletic beasts ALSO start to spend a couple hour each week on heir skills. The number one player in hS was his peak. He is exactly where he should be in the nbs

Austin like a lot of players has the moves to get his shot off but lacks consistency in his shooting. He can go off for 30 in a game and not score more than 10 pts in each of the next 6 games he plays. That’s the difference between the starters and the role players, the consistency in performance.

Austin Rivers was a certified baller in High School. He outdueled Bradley Beal. I would binge watch his highlights in his Winter Parks. You don't have to be a superstar to be successful. He made it to the league, something many have dreamed of but failed to accomplish 🤷🏾♂️

He gets picked on because his skill didn’t transfer well into the NBA and, always had a cocky attitude. He’s adjusted his game in recent years, which has made him an alright role player and, probably the reason why he’s still in the league. But he’s nowhere near the “superstar” he claimed he would be.

Im here right after the Denver vs Oklahoma game, where Rivers scored 22 pts, was 6/9 from the 3pt, and was the mvp of the game. Rivers is an underdog. He will always be seen through the lense of being Doc's son, but he is a true NBA fighter, has a big heart, and a leaders aura. I always liked him.
