Wasnt a bad flight when I was on tbh. Sure, we lost lil Nicholas due to a major head wound from a sudden decent in the first 30 minutes of the flight, but I was fairly comfortable. Great work pilots! Thanks for getting me home safe!

I think this was filmed in something like the AFA simulator center in Dublin, so either I'm guessing a few thousand to rent one (if that's a thing they do) or up to a few hundred thousand. (Also he might just be in a real plane lmao)

@@decaying_meat It's not super expensive to train in a flight sim for an hour. The dinky little airport near me has a flight school offering the sim for $45/hr. I'd assume that would include full motion and shit too because that's a big part of the training, recognizing the tricks that flight/gravity will play on your body's inner ear system. To buy a full flight sim I think is around $30,000 but you could also just buy a decent plane for that much. Could probably build your own for around $5,000.

Some are vr or screen only while others are half a cockpit but some levers and screens are static. Id assume a full cockpit would be expensive to rent out. Could be they assembled one as it would be cheaper to just buy a functional sim cockpit and use your own screens and software
