Yes there is a delay on commands for the thermostat. Probably 15-20 seconds. There's been many furnaces pulled and there wasn't anything wrong with them. I have that sick feeling in my stomach every time I fire mine up the first time of the season. But look at it like this .... you learned something from it. We never stop learning and we never know it! The human body is amazing !

Here in Canada after October no trailers hauled around pipelining because the camp grounds are closed for the winter . TOO C__O___L__D. . You can though have a hard time getting a motel because the oil field is busiest in the winter . Exception in Canada now because of government shutting things down due a prime minister who does not like the oil industry . it has caused Huge layoffs and 80% of the drilling rigs either not drilling here or now down south in the US . People are really hurting here
@AustinandKayla6 жыл бұрын
I can imagine it would be too cold there. We have talked about leaving the trailer at home if we do somewhere like North Dakota again. We were only there till November and could just tell we wouldn't like RV living up there in the winter months. Hate to hear that work has gotten slow. Why is it normally busiest in the winter? Here it is the opposite. We experienced a very slow year as a whole year before last and I know how difficult it can be on people and their families. Hoping y'all are back up and running soon!

What did you have to walk around and do to your trailer lights? I was up in Ohio before thanksgiving about the time you headed home from wv that round. When I got up there and hooked up they asked me if I had a heated water hose. Being from the south I’ve never heard of one so I went to a local rv dealer and picked one up. Let me just say 300 bucks later the hose didn’t freeze. But like I was thought when I was young when it gets cold down here just let the water run low all night and should be good for the most part.

@BullRidingIsMyLife6 жыл бұрын
Austin and Kayla lmfao!! I seen that and thought what in the world. Good idea tho never thought of that. How do y’all make your own? Prolly a lot cheaper and might help me next time I’m in a bind. I brought the (pirit 100’) it was that or another brand but I’m the kinda guy I want more then enough for a price just Incase. They had a 25 and a 50’ hose but they was higher then the 100’ but they had a longer warranty for them. I’m not much on warranty’s when I have to send it back to the maker tho. It worked good for the time I was there the shorter hoses were about $20 higher.
@tractorboy316 жыл бұрын
@@BullRidingIsMyLife never done it but im sure take a good garden hose and wrap it with heat tape how tight of wrap would depend on hose length vs heat tape length then take pipe insolation and shove hose tape wrap inside then wrap with. Guess what. Duct tape. Might want to leave a little heat tape out on both ends to have some heat on ends when connected then put a small piece of insolation on once connected. Should work

Folks it's not all fun and nostalgic to be a pipeline welder by the time you take out for motel rooms for food all your expenses and you allow for breakdown's repairs and everything it could be a very hard life if you want to make money welding and instead of making other people money like the big pipe contractors who make you think that they're doing you a favor about paying you what they do it's best that you'd be in business for yourself find some type of merchandise to manufacture and then sell it Be your own manufacturer some have been in business making trailers some even swing sets one welder Went to work making deer stands and was able to quit his job and do it full time right out of his garage he made them of aluminum When you work for yourself you can take as many breaks as you want sip as much tea as you want eat when you want have your own warm shop and warmed so you don't have to be out there in the cold laying down in a ditch on your back with sparks burning you up you've got more control over the whole atmosphere of it all if you're gonna make money well then have your own shop. Now let me tell you something that's gonna be a mind blower do you know most welders will never buy their own welding machine most welders will always go from job to job looking to work for somebody else and make somebody else rich and will never own their own welding machine and if they need welding done they have to hire somebody or call somebody who had sense enough to buy their own welding machine.
