I saw 3 new movies this month 1. Transformers One (91/100) One of my favorite animated movies ever. I’ve seen it twice in theaters and might go a third time. Masterpiece. 2. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (64/100) Somewhat of an improvement over the original. It’s not great by any means, but it’s fun. 3. Megalopolis (62/100) I’m probably rating it way higher than I should, but it’s so insane that I kinda had fun with it. Still, I had more fun with the other 2 movies I saw this month.

Just saw megalopolis a second time today, and ya I think I like it lol. After my first watch a few days ago I was left unsure and around a 6/10. But I could t stop thinking about the movie for it’s weird moments. Saw it again today and I found myself thoroughly enjoying it lol. I think it’s destined to be a cult movie.

Worst to best: Mountainfilm Adventure Shorts: I enjoy sports movies, but this was not one of them. It was instead a series of documentaries about the outdoors strung together. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: I just recently watched the original so I could see this, and I didn’t like it that much. This was slightly better with a more urgent plot but it still didn’t amaze me. Speak No Evil: James McCoy delivers another amazing performance as a horror villain, but it is weighed down by some of the dumbest decisions in horror movies I have seen in a while. Transformers One: This movie was so layered and entertaining for a children’s movie. The Wild Robot: I saw this last night and it was so emotional and touching. Also I thought it was beautifully animated. My Old Ass: This movie was so much funnier and better than I could have ever imagined. It nearly brought me to tears, and I am debating if this is my first or second favorite of 2024.
