Sorry about your grandmother. And sad you have not seen her. But she lived to a very good age. I find when things are tough it seems to happen a few bad things in a row and its hit after hit.

Sorry about all the down stuff - especially your Grandmother. I lost mine two years ago to Parkinson's. I still find myself thinking that I should ask her about something - only to remember that I no longer can. Thank you for sharing your journey and how you engage with social media. Take care.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I don't have a nice way to put not being able to to Taiwan just sucks. I am sure you will find a special way to honor her here. Your second lesson learned from your loss really hit home for me. I remember the doctors and nurses that supported my family when my dad passed away and they were truly wonderful. It was was hard but when you have amazing team who explain everything factually but with empathy it really eases people's worse days.

Congrats on your nomination. Sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Bless her at 97. I hope your eye heals up fast. Remember always take time for yourself. You seem like a great GI. I know it can be a hard job. I am an Ulcerative Colitis patient and totally get it. I have a scope coming up and no matter how many, I get nervous. A nice calming voice like yours and being a good doctor help. Be well and this too shall pass.

Sorry for your loss. It's never easy but with time it does get better. I think it is very important for your loved ones to have that conversation about their wishes and living will. In a difficult time like end of life it makes it easier for loved ones to let go. Speaking from experience

I'm sorry for your loss. My own grandmother passed away the night I returned to my hometown from overseas for the holidays, so at least I was able to stay long enough for the funeral.

It must be very difficult to be so far away from your family but it must also be comforting to be able to help them from your professional level. Sincere condolences on your loss. Perhaps in a later video, you might share more about your grandmother and your relationship with her. Living to 97 is remarkable in and of itself. She must have had some interesting experiences. What was important to her? What did she think about your becoming a Doctor? Hope your remembrances of her are able to help you through your grief.

I'm so sorry all that was dumped on you. It's such a shame you could not be there for your grandmother, but she will always be in your heart. Your award was extremely cool and even though I only use You Tube,it sure brought a smile to my face seeing how appreciated you are on that platform. I do worry about you having to get out with all the raciest dingbats out there at odd hours. I hope you have pepper spray or something.. Anyway, yeah,I can relate to lots of things going wrong and all at once as well. All that being said, I'm hoping things sort themselves out for you. Take care,it's scary out there.❤️
