Every EX in this deck look like they could all change the game in some way! I find it very strange that Arceus, Giratina and the 2 other starters dont have an Ex, but i'd assume that will come with a bonus pack like Mythical Island. I'm excited about the decks that can be made from these!

@@aidenhughes6170 while you are correct, it was a part of A1, it being A1-a. So they totally could just release A3, A2-a will probably be a thing to hold people over until the next big expansion. Now that doesn't mean its going to be sinnoh, but I don't see how it wouldn't happen personally.

On Lucario: Every other passive bench effect has specifically said that it doesn't stack, if it doesn't stack, so I would assume this one does.

I'm planning on running Lucario, Gallade. It may not be 100% consistent, but if I get one of each on the field, I deal 130 damage to any pokemon with 2 energy, and 150 to any with 3.

Giratina has use as a wall that is splashable in any deck. It has a lot of HP and only needs 1 of any energy to freely retreat.

In response to your feelings on the booster set, I personally feel we will get a double set (Arceus and Giratina) for this 2nd set. My belief stems from the 3 packs in set 1 and 1 booster set. First set represented the way legends worked in the region a set of 3 and the individual mewtwo. Second set is a based on a region of sets of 2 palkia and dialga, arceus and Giratina. Might be wrong, but if I'm right you heard it here first! Lol

Instead, Regice doesn't have to worry about Special Conditions, or anything else - other than damage - that an attack would "do" to Regice. It should keep Bidoof's attack from having its HP; Bidoof's attack isn't worded as "doing damage", but is closer to the various attacks in the full TCG that _place_ damage counters, and _are_ considered attack effects. The rule of thumb from the full TCG is that doing damage is never an "effect". Yes, even if the damage amount is listed in what we normally refer to as "effect text". So far, the Pocket version of Pokémon doesn't do things like have attacks place damage counters, instead of "doing damage".

Psychic decks stay broken. So many new good tech options to what was already the most powerful archetype. Yes weavile does amazing into it, but does that matter? Just because it hard loses to one deck type doesn't mean having a positive matchup into 8 others isn't overtuned

Mamoswine might be the meta for water types as it counters other water type and fire type decks, it’s not weak to thunder types, and misty can give its energy immediately. Only down side in evoling it twice, but it’s pretty easy.

Electrode with no retreat cost is one of my favorites to have on the bench. I got an electric deck that I favor (Zapdos EX is god) so I like some of the changes for Volkner and Electribuzz's evolution. You would need 3 turns to set up the dark attack plan. One energy for Spirittomb to retreat (unless you use an item to make it zero), one energy on weavile and then one energy that round to put on Darkrai for that 20 damage

Don't worry man, I have only one crown Mewtwo out of 2.5k + cards😅..... Some of it comes down to us having some bad luck, but I've been seeing a lot of people saying the same things..... Like, having the premium pass is pretty much a waste, you're getting one free pack a day, but 90 percent of the time you're getting doo doo cards.... Guess it depends on the person if you think that's worth it or not
