Discovered another 4 Star Meowth after accidentally luring him towards Sudowoodo, where he does his Scratch Cat schtick. I think Sudowoodo fooled him into thinking he was a real tree to sharpen his claws.

Meowth has a second option for 4 star. When he reaches the fire pit (before you start feeding him) you can lure him again with apples towards sudowoodo. When he reaches him, he'll do a fury swipe animation on sudowoodo. That animation is 4-star. Found it as a happy accident trying to get the one depicted in this video lol

For the trubish to count as 4-star it needs to have another pokemon in the frame.

For Trubbish and Rattata specifically you need to get at least 1 of the other guys partially in the photo for it to count as 4-star otherwise it just defaults to 3-star.

An easier 4 star starly is on route 2. Near the end of the route there is a starly perched on the sign near the entrance. Spam it with orbs and it will do its waving pose. You don't need to feed it or worry about APPLES despawning.

Dedenne is pronounced “duh-dehn-eyy” my dude, in case you want the correct & easy way to see how to pronounce it. You pronounced it correct at 8:52. Edit: while I’m here- vivillion is pronounced “vih-vee-yawn”. Has a French sort of pronouncing where the L sound is more of a Y.

So for the fancy pattern vivillon you need to go to course 1 and scare the starly’s in the tree next to the logs and when they fly to the other tree and then vivillon flies. Now for The Empty Room quest you need to go to the alternate route on course 2 and then throw apples and idk if you scan or play music but then Meowth comes and it makes a scary position.

Just want to note for everyone that the double L in Vivillon is pronounced with a Y sound. This double L "rule" is true for all latin based languages (English is a Germanic language). This applies to Vivillon because it comes from the France-based-Kalos Region. This applies to the word Guillotine as well. This is a common mistake, so don't feel bad.

Also you can get a 4 Star Pikachu on the route he's with Bunnelby. Use the scanner to make Pika move towards the idle Neo-One's. Lure him further over with fruit and Pika will jump on it. Throw orbs at him for cute poses, haven't tried music yet

If you're having trouble getting anything better than gold or even silver for the Starly there's a better option. Start at course B then scare the two Starly off the roofs of the buildings by scanning each one. Then when you get near the end of the course there will be a Starly sitting on the signpost. Throw an Illumina orb at it and snap a pic. It should also do the waving animation so you can get a much closer picture of it then. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work 100% of the time. So give it a shot and try it multiple times. I've gotten some pretty great pics of it doing this.

So if anyone was wondering how to pronounce vivillon its actually pronouced viveon. The name vivillon comes from the words vivid and butterfly in french which is papillon.

alternate 4 star meowth here is follow the same steps but instead of feeding him near the fireplace lure him to sudowoodo where he uses fury attack to scare sudowoodo away. meowth is a 4 star and sudowoodo reaction is a 3 star.

You missed a vivillion on course 1. After the eevee and the trubbish. There are 4 starly in a tree. If you through an fluff fruit at the starly you scare them out of the tree and follow them and they will reveal a fancy pattern vivlion.

I HAVE FIGURED OUT AUDINO 4 STAR!!! Free the cutie fly in the flowers by the porch. Then after you pass it, play music until it comes to audino. Once it comes to audino, okay music again. Once Audino starts to twirls, THEN HIT HER WITH AN ORB! It adds more animation to her dance and this is the 4 star!!!!!!
