Me too!! I knew about the fish because of Finding Nemo but thought nothing of it. But from watch 10 most creepy fish i saw this and its weird mating habits and because curious. They are rather amazing.

Sorry, but the bonus fact is incorrect - only the female Ceratioids have the illicium. If you mean to say all anglerfish species have an illicium, that's still incorrect as Haplophryne mollis (literally shown and explained in this video) has no rod but only a lure (esca). There's even a species (Neoceratias spinifer) which has neither.
