His release is so unique. Puck comes off his stick like a slingshot. The motion is so smooth and quick that it's almost imperceptible for goaltenders. Stuff of nightmares.

Ik I watched this team live once..man I miss them when they had Bozak, Jvr, Kadri, and then a young Marner, Nylander, Matthews u name it that team was stacked

Yeah i believe he will get somewhere in the 8-9 million range for his first big contract obviously depending on this upcoming season say he gets somewhere between 70-75 points and 40-45 goals again i think that contract would be well earned

Sinz Blade As long as he gets those numbers, then he'll get that close to 7-9 million. However, this means Toronto will have to give Marner a bridge deal or something smaller than what he deserves.

No matter what happens I have confidence that Dubas will make it work one way or the other as long as they keep Tavares,Matthews,Marner together im happy. Nylander is great, love his style but if someones gotta go its gotta be him lol

Buttmannopfer19 I imagine Marner having a point per game season thus earning a bigger salary than Nylander. However, I see the Leafs giving Marner a bridge deal unless they can ship out some players before the offseason.

You cant wait till? they probably already are think about it, Marner n Matthews are pretty much equal in point totals throughout 2 seasons and Tavares is marginally better than Nylander so my bet would be Tavares/Marner > Matthews/Nylander, so many great players n duos love this team

The point was that they have to practice playing together and learn each others playing styles. It's not just drop 3 amazing players together and look at the awesome line I have. 90% of an amazing line is how the players play together. The skill level isn't what I was talking about.
