Austrack Tele X - Dramas finally fixed

I recently bought a 2021 Austrack Telegraph X and discovered that the water had to be on minimum, then when you press the button on the shower rose and the water comes through, the gas heater comes on, then you can turn the water up.

All the controls on the hot water should be on minimum to start with, and only open your water inlet to about half way to start.

Hey mate, I could be wrong but I know with the joolca hot water systems, they do require a D battery ( or even 2 maybe ) that operates the pump and once the battery(s) goes flat, they won’t work properly. There’s another brand, the Smarttek Lite which looks identical to yours just with a different sticker ( probably from the same factory 😬 ) and they also say you must have 2 x D batteries installed for it to work. The cold water pushes through by pressure of the incoming hose but the hot water needs the batteries to pump the hot water through. Worth checking the inside of your system, could be just flat batteries bud 🤞🤞🤞 Or the other thing that can easily happen often is wind keeps blowing out the water heating flame, just like on the bbq at home 😉👍

We bought one of these just a year ago and have nothing but problems with the electrics . It’s been back 4 times and they still have not fixed anything. But they say it’s fixed.

@@wewentthatawayadventures I’ve literally just spent an hour on the website with a tech guy tonight and he says it’s a fuse. And this is after today spending $1000 on new batteries as the ones in the camper, according to the guy who exchanged them, were stuffed.
