Australia BANS social media for kids under 16: Should SA follow suit?

I assumed, too much I suppose, that responsible, morality based parents were already setting this boundary with their children? I need to keep reminding people that social media was created for college/university students when millennials were young adults. It was never intended for teens or older people, as a matter of fact. Outside of businesses and organizations, and even that was regulated. It was never supposed to become this politics driven, mass distraction for the entire population.
