Please give credit to Australia team they played superb cricket to move for final match. It's very refreshing to see their bowlers struck to the task and bowled excellent line and length. Infact such their accuracy in first 10 overs they gave only one four. It's a rejuvenated Australia team. India has to fight hard to win in the final. Offcourse indians have home pitch advantage. They have to include Ashwin in place of siraj.

At last I get to see a sensible comment. If the pitch is assisting spin, they should play Ashwin and he should be India's 1st change in bowler considering Australia's inefficiency to tackle spin. No batter in the Australian camp has the ability to tackle spin in a spin friendly pitch. Just see how they handled markram, this shows that they are clearly scared of spin. Australians are gonna smack our pace attack be it shami or bumrah with ease. Siraj's spell is gonna decide the finals. Had siraj been given another over in the SF then there was a possibility for the New Zealand to get into the game. Thankfully Rohit threw the ball back to Bumrah. Trusting Siraj in a pace friendly pitch is fine. But in a flat pitch Siraj is a flat bowler. Also adding Ashwin is a safe option considering his batting. Cheeka is right. Calling SA chokers is not apt today because they fought well. Coming to think of stats: Nz has played 13 50ov Wc, 7 semis, 2 runner ups and 1 quarters. In t20, 4 semis. They lost 11 semis in total. SA on the other hand lost 4 50ov semis, 2 t20 semis. The only difference may be that Nz always punch above their weight, by performing with what resources they have. While SA tend to under perform in pressure situation. Two different stories but result is the same.

But along with this, AZHAGA IRUKKA BAYAMA IRUKKU maari, MANJA team nenacha koncham light-ah bayama irukku. Idhula before WCup, Mitchell Marsh said, he dreamt of Ind vs Oz finals and Oz scoring 350+ and dismissing Team India for 50 runs. Luckily, we had 397 in our fixed deposit to make up for those lapses. I am not pointing out Shami's easy dropped chance, as dropping catches can be said part and parcel, but that chance came when our bowling was looking pedestrian and a huge record partnership was developing. Leaving alone that catch, our ground fielding was below standards. When Kiwis would have easily saved 20-25 runs with their ground fielding, we gave away 20-25 runs with our sloppy fielding, overthrows and what not. All this in a SEMIS game and it's completely unacceptable. We need a big wake up call, because guess what, we are in line to face the mighty ODI former champions. Another YELLOW team that is in pursuit of their 6th title. Living here in Australia, I know that for Cricket Australia, World cups and ICC cups are like tea cups for them (BAU). Leaving alone the 5 ODI World Cup titles they have, off-late they have WTC and T20 World Cup also. Time for BCCI also to start stocking World Cups, again I repeat World Cups and not just IPL cups. Given the 2003 finals where Team Oz was over Team India like a rash, this time I believe Team India is playing like that old Oz team (invincible) and will start dictating terms like they have done this whole World Cup. All I am praying and saying is, let us also make sure, our fielding is decent class, if not top class as catches win you matches and runs saved is runs produced 🙏
