It was very frustrating watching the Socceroos having zero creativity up front. The fact that dubious penalty was our only shot on target have serious concerns for the team. The Uzbeks also played good game well deserving of their goal and it was also like playing a mirror as they played very similar to us and were very smart to force the Aussies into errors to exploit. We are really hurting with the retirements of Mooy/Rogic and it shows how much they carried the team post Cahill retirement. Hrustic being MIA and losing Leckie to injury prior to the tournament have just exposed even further how much we need them. Mcgree is the only creative force we have, but his still new in the team. We will struggle the further we go.

Australia are doing a Greece 2004 because that's all they're capable of. It worked at 2022 World Cup and it will be their best hope. No good forwards, but Jackson Irvine is kinda like a cut price Frank Lampard. Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 absolutely deserve a shot at the semis and I would love to see them go to 2026 WC. They're building up to the point where their players could be playing in Russia, China and Saudi, which is proof of their improvement. India? They're India, their academies and leagues are stagnant and not serious.

Our players always played in russia, china, and middle east. It's not new. What's new is our players going to Europe. Shomurodov was the first by going to Italy. Khusanov went to France. Fayzullaev should be going soon as well.

It's irritable watching this team play calling up 4 DM with no creativity. We really need Alex Robertson. I don't know why he hasn't been playing Craig Goodwin in the past two games and continues to play Bos on the left wing like we're not lacking wingers Tilio, Silvera, and even players that are not picked Kuol and Irankunda who could be a super sub when we need some goals.

The Aussies in most sports even if they lack quality, are brilliant at digging deep and keeping anything competitive by sheer balls, im British, just watch an ashes series or international Rugby, they sometimes stay competitive by pure cajones, im half-Indian and I agree with you, I'll always support India in the Asian cup, but I'll be honest, we're not very good

I think Australia were very lucky against Uzbekistan and Syria, the should have lost to Uzbekistan and Syria was so much better and deserved at least a draw. Some strong teams are sometimes not convincing in their first couple of games, although they get the job done, but australia is not as good as we expected them to be. All the best to Uzbekistan and Syria. I would love to see them making history, they both deserve a happy ending.

Steve could only adopt to what circumstances he had. There are a lot of works for India to do.
