GIC isn't entirely bad, in GIC you have to deposit 10,200 CAD in Nova Scotia bank, this is to ensure that the students going there will be able to survive using this money in case they aren't able to work, when you reach Canada, 2000CAD from the GIC amount is ready for you to use and you get 667CAD every month for 12 months. This way you recover 10,000CAD and the 200CAD is a fee charged for the services.

Gic actually hota kya hai n bhai. Canada mai jaane ke liye 2 category hoti hai 1)SDS category (student direct stream) 2)Non-SDS category. If a student is scoring 6 or more than 6bands in ielts then they are applicable for SDS category. SDS category mai Gic compulsory hota hai and GiC account bhot benefit hota hai student ke liye. Start mai student ko Gic accoumt open karna hota hai and usme 10,000 dollars deposit karna padta hai for some reason. Jese hee student canada land hota hai Canadian government first month student ko 2000 canadian dollars deti hai for survival from their Gic account. And from second month the student gets 700 Canadian dollars monthly which this money deducts from their Gic account.

Australia: 2 year work permit in 3 big city. Canada: usually 3 year Canada Fees: Between 15,000 to 20,000 whereas AUS. Around 30,000 Canada GIC: 10,000$ but it gives back whenever you going to canada. AUS: NO GIC PR: Canada usually easy to get PR compare to AUS. So as of now Canada is better option.

That 10k gic is also for your leaving expenses in canada. Canadian government will give back that 10k (monthly specific amount)within 1year. So i think one can not count this 10k in the term of considering cost of study in Canada.

GIC is little misinterpreted in vdo, its your money deposited in a bank for your survival over a year, in case you get a part time job on time you need not user it keep it for next year fees in case… as soon as you land you get 2000$ for initial settlement funds and 667$ per month for a year
