Hi Jase The Ute Master load lid is awesome and costumer service is first class. I’m so glad that I purchased the load lid. It made the trip across the Simpson Desert easy been able to keep my gear dry, secure and be able to tie down gear onto the lid. Keep the load down low and not stacked up on the roof 👍👍👍

Definately a good touring/camping setup but not Australia's best.. Not doing any of the tough stuff without a bar, winch, snorkel & sliders! The setup is great none the less.

@pklepkle6287 Hey bloke, I was averaging 12 to 14 Ltrs per 100 klm going across the French line. But depending on how many people and the gear you are carrying can push up the fuel consumption up. I was the only one in the raptor for that trip, I was carrying a fridge, battery pac, swag, stretcher and 5 Jerrycans three of them were diesel the other two petrol for my mates jeep. Adding to the inventory were the usual food, WATER, tools and a few spare parts, eg fuel filters. You can checkin on the road conditions on Face book, Mt Dare Hotel, Pink road house Oodandatta and the Pub at Innamincka. Take a good camera the night sky is awesome, travel safe and have an awesome time🤙

btw what size wheels/ tires and offset ?
@23trevmc3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew I have KMC 544 MESA 18x9" with Nitto Ridge Grappler 33x12.50R18 tires. The Ridge Grapplers preformed really well on the desert roads. There is a bit of poke out of the flairs but if that worries you maybe look at another size of tire. Nitto have a good range of sizes for the Ridge Grappler.

Snorkel front bar and winch won't hurt!!!
@TyFenwick3 жыл бұрын
Be interesting to see what trev does next to it 😎👍🏼
@23trevmc3 жыл бұрын
Snorkel and bar are not a priority on the list for the moment. I'm looking at intercooler hoses and possibly upgrade the intercooler. The factory hoses balloon and are dodge. Plenty of them have failed.

But still rivets shouldn’t be use to secure a rack to the roof. Crazy!

I'd prefer high quality driving lights to a bull bar. I rather see what is standing on the side of the road ready to jump out in front of me.
