Australia’s Best Roads: The Great Ocean Road.

A couple of years ago, I rode some of the Great Ocean Road on a rented CF Moto 650 NK that was too small for me. Still ranks as one of the best days I’ve had on two wheels, despite the low speed limits, thousands of tourists and other common frustrations associated with the GOR.

As someone who lives not far away from the road and has been riding for ten years or so I can attest to the fact that tourists, rock slides and just general maintenance of the road make it less fun to ride. I live 20 minutes from the start of the road and have ridden it maybe 3 times ever. I can certainly understand however why it's a bucket list type road for the beautiful views when you don't get a tourist coming around at you on the wrong side of the road in a rental van 😅
