Where does the government get the money to spend into the economy? From taxpayers. So all the government is doing is taking money from taxpayers who would have spent their own money in the first place and spend that money instead. It’s a zero sum game. The two cancel each other out. I believe Paul Keating would understand this even though I’m no fan of his.
@lloydsingline34018 сағат бұрын
Keating would but Chalmers and Albanese don't.Did I read that right in the Tele today - at Asean in Melbourne in march,Jess Maubay was paid $44 ,000 for performing and another $20,000 was spent on flowers to impress our ASEAN trading partners. Most of us like Jess and all of that,beautiful voice, but 44 grand - for how long !!
