Holden finished off production in Australia sooo much stronger than ford did!

Ford were never in the hunt anyway and spent decades building outdated rubbish. They only ever played catch-up to Holden and hsv was in another universe compared the fords half arsed copy cat fpv crap with boss boat anchors hanging over the front end and leaf spring crap in the Utes last seen on horse and carts. They’re interiors were woeful rubbish and fell to pieces. The old ford truck of painting some stripes and calling them names like Coooobra or pursuit was all name and no substance. They finished production with a wheezing dedicated gas fg and Holden finished with an ss redline and hsv with the mighty w1.

Captain kaos I'm a holden man but I own a fg and whilst ford did make some underwhelming cars the fg is a great car the Barra is far superior to any 6 holden has ever had give respect to both makes as they both have unreal cars and If it's aussie it's good in my book 👍

Yeah you ford boys were left with nothing to talk about because the coyote and boss crap wasn’t worth pissing on. The ford forums are jammed with turbo dweebs stroking each other’s egos. Pathetically sad for you to look back on but I suppose it was a fitting end to ford all those Bathurst victory’s by 308s destroying 351 garbage was a reminder of things to come. The el falcon gt was supposed to be the big icon car back in the day until the morons at ford realised a 351 was never going to fit the engine bay and had to make do with a wheezing Windsor small block and still ran standard brakes but was claimed to be a performance car.

bro they did make lower power models, Australian govt gave money to holden to produce good cars but money was just funnelled back to GM so they stopped paying them and they left, its more General Motors problem than Australia's problem
