Imagine China's reaction upon receiving news that Australia and New Zealand are increasing spending on their military. China sees these countries as targets, especially as it begins to conquer Southeast Asian countries, as well as East Asian nations like Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and those in the Pacific region. Additionally, China is extending its influence by building infrastructure in Antarctica and parts of Africa, while also eyeing North and South American countries. These countries should take note of the regions near China's borders, including the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, and Mongolia. Even their allies, Russia and North Korea, are eyeing these areas for potential conquest. Those countries must assist each other in growth and preparedness against China. They should also boycott Chinese products and restrict the entry of Chinese citizens into their countries. They should not allow ownership of any land and thoroughly investigate businesses operated within their borders, as these individuals may be used as sources by China. The neighboring countries of China and even those potentially targeted by China should participate, because if they do not, they will be among the first to be targeted. China knows who the weak and vulnerable are, those who do not join parties or groups, making them easier targets for conquest.

I agree. Australia is a grateful country and ally to us, but we are reluctant to help them because they are allies of Britain and Japan. There is almost no Asian country that has not been subjected to huge scale genocide by these two countries. The problem is that the survivors are alive and their families are also alive. The number of victims killed by Britain and Japan is too high. It's not as if Asian politicians in individual countries can ignore victims in order to win votes. So, I don't think there are many Asian countries that cooperate perfectly with the US and Australia...

@@petrichor3947I was surprised that Australia remembers its history. I thought Westerns had forgotten their past. War crimes were committed by Japan, it is a logical leap to overlap with China. As neighbors between China and Japan, as South Korean, they are different. Evenif both are civilizations that worship violence and brutality. Because the Japanese consider surrender to be a shame, they despise prisoners of war and consider them unworthy of life. They also have a long tradition of mutilating the bodies of their captives. On the contrary, China is considering its own honor has increased when the enemy surrenders. So they feels happy and rewards it. The more rewards Chinese give to a looser, they believe their honor go high. And there is a custom of showing respect to enemies who do not surrender and treating prisoners well in China. However, the problem is that China is a country with low human rights that are harsh even for Chinese people. Perhaps Chinese POW camps are like 18th-century British orphanages. The director of the orphanage treats the orphans well with a sense of being the chosen people, but from the orphans' perspective, they feel mistreated...

Australia has difficulty understanding how dominant countries behave, which is surprising considering they fought and died for the continuation of the often ruthless, exploitive British Empire. This freedom of navigation is a red herring. China would be harming itself if it restricted international trade routes. The only problem is navigating around disputed waters regarding sovereignty of some small islands. China's behaviour compared to European Colonial and American Empire behaviour is exemplary. They have not invaded and conquered any country, they have not overturned any governments, they have not tried to impose with military force their style of Government. They have a strong case for saying Taiwan belongs to China - the island was returned to China from Japan ( who was defeated in 1945 ), and who one could say stole it from China after beating China at war in the early 20th century. It was not returned to Chiang kai Shek it was returned to the Government of China where it had been a province of China for hundreds of years. Anybody can visit Xinjiang the land of the Ouigars and see a lot of success of Chinese retraining and investment in this once very poor backward province. America is by far the biggest problem on the Planet with its not 100 per cent mentally capable president and its aggressive policies of trying to impose their very flawed idea of Democracy and to achieve this causing and supporting wars and usually losing most of them. ,

The ONLY country that would want to link economic and military is China, it doesn't really want a country to have the ability to stand up for itself, at the height of tensions between Australia and China, the CCP delivered a note to the Australian Government with 14 points that the CCP said was necessary for economic interaction to continue, some of these points said the Australian Government shoud not criticise China, shoud reverse the ban on Huwaii, Ban Media from speaking about China in a bad way. Reverse a law which gives the Australian Governement the right to veto deals state or loval governments want to do with foreign governments, Ban speaking out about Humans Rights issues. Not to allow the media to talk about what is happening in the South China Sea and SO on, these points that China did its best to force on Australia can be viewed so there is NO argument that any China fan can put to refute this. Australia REFUSED these demands and according China hit its products to China with either a complete ban or tariffs up to 400% and THAT folks is a reason countries are banding together , to have PROTECTION from a bully nation that uses treats.
