I think in the 1st inning he was given the role to play aggressively and put pressure on australia. But in the second inning he surely would have been given the role of playing as many balls as possible. So the way he gave away his wicket in the 2nd inning was extremely irresponsible.

Rishabh has scored mosted of his run by playing contemporary cricket shot not by unorthodox shot. He has done terrible mistake by not understanding the match situations . Match awareness test cricket ki jaan hai. Rishabh understand that but not applied in this match. He just need to play 60 more balls and situation could be entirly different . Today's goal is to draw the match because that's how team played top of the order. Remember gabba match rohit gill played very good innings from top Of the order and then on that platform Rishabh has done miracle. But this match is entirly different. We loose semi final of 2019 for same reason. Have you seen Dhoni even though he is far less talented than Rishabh doing these kind of mistakes. You can get out bowlers but throwing wicket is not allowed.
