I’m Australian and I’ve caught barramundi and they are very similar to Murray cod, but when they fight they fight a lot harder than cod since cod are lazy buggers and barra are energetic

A few months ago I managed to catch a giant Barramundi weighing almost 18kg in northern Malaysia ( mangrove area) using SP.. You need a very strong hook and luck as well because this fish will jump and writhed on the water when close to you, at this time the hook will be easily detached from the mouth.. Barramundi, what a monster, beautiful & powerful..
