Not a sad song for me, but I managed to get a party of young bucks to hear the whole song and fk everyone looked sad cos they didn't know who even sung it 😂 they wanted to change it. Me and another mum sitting there reminiscing.

@@jamesrebbechi5247 IDK when the turning point was. I just remember when 'yuppies' were a thing that people looked down on because they cared too much about material possessions and too little about being connected to the people around them. Then somehow everyone became a yuppie and we went from being a country to an economy. Youngsters now don't even know what they missed, they just get told that everything was racist back then and it's so much better now. But they're being lied to, they've been robbed of their birthright and the people who've done it are smiling and telling them how lucky they are because they get free childcare when Mum goes to work when they're 6 months old. You're depressed and anxious... No way! I wonder what caused that? What a mystery. Have some pills.

Say what you will about the movie. The soundtrack to it. The whole thing almost is banger after banger
@Charles12 Жыл бұрын
@@madzpanda I guess, but it's all 80s rock love songs and synthwave. Nothing like the punk rock tracks and operatic score of the anime. The Ross bros. score is actually pretty good tho. Should've gotten a release honestly.
@madzpanda Жыл бұрын
@@Charles12 I dunno if I would describe maximum the hormone as punk. Also I'm pretty musically flexible and even make music and stuff to make music. I dig synthwave and 80s. Not my favorite genres but when I wanna hear em I'm going to lol. Still think the soundtrack slaps
@Charles12 Жыл бұрын
@@madzpanda maximum the hormone is obviously metal, but the Nightmare theme is gothic visual kei which is closely associated with punk rock from what I've heard at least.
@madzpanda Жыл бұрын
@@Charles12 I dunno if I'd even call them metal. Before I knew they even made music for deathnote I had a couple releases they did. It was all over the place. Yeah metal, but also Ska, pretty moments I can't really compare stuff to. Also punk at times. It's hard to explain some Japanese music like melt banana for example. They kind of sound like an emo violence band sometimes or old old old old screamo, or kitten core, or just noise. All over the place.

hmm, musically great use of air / space / silence ... after which ..SO SLEEPY ...and what's with the bikini pic ?????? if the song was so great then there would NEVER be need for a cartoon pic of 'aus' bikini genitalia for a song from....wait for it .....'1983 ! poor show if that's the best we've got then we're hangin' on to to slim threads

@bendafyddgillard8 ай бұрын
To deny the presence of genitals under the bikini by giving the subject a smooth-as-a-barbie-doll crotch, would be to deny the eros of beaches and of surf rock. Indeed the wrinkles of the so-called camel toe, and the slight bulge at the top of the outer thigh, subvert the idealising and flattening effect of a literally airbrushed image. In short, a sanitised picture is incompatible with the messy animal reality the Crawl sing about, not least in this song.
