Wow. That was a particularly generous vegemite comparison - normally they just slather it on and just call it salty goddawful rubbish. This time it's made by actual Australians that know what they're doing - of course its delicious when used correctly! For those not in the know, vegemite has a sodium concentration just a little bit less than actual salt. It's also got a deep umami flavour to it. If you're spreading it on thick, just think about doing the same with salt (where you haven't just covered the bread with it, but have depth to the salt layer!)
