Sam, I hope that the comments about Seth aren't true. My heart is heavy at the thought of it. But I fear the lack of response refuting the claims are confirmation. Every time I saw you two together it was a gift to see. I hope there are people close enough to help you and your family through this nightmare. I hope there are people who can simply sit with you and grieve with you. The pain I feel for you and your family is real and genuine but I live on the other side of the world. Big thanks Sam. I took your advice on my the (much smaller) olives at the end of winter and hacked them back to stumps - it took a while but they now have lots of shoots. I know our summer is nowhere near the same but would you just let all of the new growth go and then do some selection in early winter or would you reduce a lot of the new growth to make sure energy gets directed to the shoots you know you wil want to et bigger. Sounds a novice question but I just want to get a feel for how you would approach this next step. Great video by the way. You are my olive guru :)

I understand that Sam and his partner are going to be struggling for a long time. I think there jobs and work are going to be taking a back seat. I absolutely don’t know if this would be true. But if they are taking time off work I could guess that financially it could get hard. I for one would like to thank him for his hours of entertainment he has given us and give back in emotionally hard times. Is there a way in KZbin to donate money? It wouldn’t be much but if we all could give a tiny bit it may help if needed. It’s also a way of telling them thinking of them.
