What an awesome Grand Slam this was !!! AO is and was always the best! :D 2013 would be even better :D I can't wait to see the follow-up 2012 season !!! It's gonna be the best I think! :D

@BF2superfans You can't forget 2009 australian open though. Verdasco played amazing and the ability of nadal to recover so quickly was amazing.

@cssftw100 But if you think Roger is absolutely legendary (which he is) why would you want him to retire? I want him and need him to keep playing Tennis for as long as it makes him happy. He has done so much for the sport, he has made his permanent mark in history. It is an absolute honour to be a Tennis fan in a time when we get to witness him play, why would you want this time to end? He is not deteriorating, the others have just stepped it up to a whole new level.

Nah first week of the tournament was kinda boring, without great macthes, in fact only the last weekend was the best moment (3 matches). For me the best AO was 2005 by faaar. Nalbandian vs Hewitt, Federer vs Safin, Blake vs Hewitt, Gaudio vs Santoro, etc.

Hewitt was and is injured, he hasn't had a pain free day for years and he's almost 10 years older than Djokovic so of course the world number 1 is going to beat Hewitt who's barely in the top 200 these days. Djokovic should be pretty embarrassed that he lost a set against the pain crippled Hewitt. If you matched Djokovic now with Hewitt from when he was number 1 and not injured and its been that long since he hasn't been mind you, Djokovic would be forced to tears.
