Can you apply for a partner visa on a 3rd year WHV? Or do you have to do it on your 1st and 2nd as a 3rd year WHV will have a ‘no further stay’ condition? Meaning you’ll have to apply for an off shore one instead?

Hi Topman15, we can help you with your application, but we will need more information please contact our office at 07 3063 1200 or get in touch via our website www.freedommigration.com/partner-visa-help/

We applied for offshore 10 months ago when we applied it said 13 months, but now it showing 17 months. Howeve3r in the application it says there is a que. my question is these changing times are they for new applications or everyone? on top of that there has been zero response on our application 10 months will they let us know when they start looking or is it just send granted?
@FreedomMigrationAUS5 жыл бұрын
You normally don’t hear anything from immigration while your visa is processing but we have seen couples get an automated email at the 12 month mark to say that there Visa is being processed.
@animaljammer41485 жыл бұрын
@@FreedomMigrationAUS Thanks for that. I assumed it may be like the tourist visa we applied where you only get a grant message. I know we put in a lot of evidences, on all the pillars. the only thing we did wrong was we took medical right away for her. hoping grant comes in before Feb. otherwise she may require another medical I was told.
@animaljammer41485 жыл бұрын
Two more questions. First with the que, when it changes from 13 months to 17 months, does that mean for every application or is it meaning applications that start from that date. For example ours said 13 months at the time we applied, but it gone up and down since currently sitting at 17 months, should we expect to wait 17 months? Second question, how long after they grant do they give to come into the country? We did offshore and was just wondering what time limits she will be given after grant to enter Australia

Eisa Shirzad pretty sure you can’t speed up the process and just have to wait and be patient like everyone else. Also, Coronavirus isn’t going to help either

Hi, me and my boyfriend are planning to get married between October to December 2020, can you help me answer the questions, should we apply for a prospective marriage visa now or directly apply the partner visa after our wedding? Is it possible to change the prospective marriage visa application to partner visa if we didn't get the prospective marriage visa until our wedding? Thank you for answering
@FreedomMigrationAUS5 жыл бұрын
Hi Melania, thanks for your question. Why have you decided to go down the route of a Prospective Marriage Visa? Have you looked at the other partner visa options?
@melanias175 жыл бұрын
@@FreedomMigrationAUS I only found prospective marriage visa and partner visa from the website. But considering the time it takes for it to be granted, I'm wondering if there are ways to make it faster. Also it was mentioned that prospective marriage visa should be applied if we're planning to be married 9 months from the application (from home affairs website), so I'm wondering if it's worth to apply it or just directly get married then apply for the partner visa

After I got engaged in March 2019, my fiancee (currently my wife) lodged an application in April 2019 for prospective marriage. We had a wedding overseas in November 2019. We went to ImmiAccount and updated circumstances to "partner visa" and uploaded marriage contract and wedding photos. Anyway, it has been more than 9 months and no reply at all. I'm not a migration agent, but in my opinion just lodge it, time goes faster than the visa processing time :D My wife and I are currently living a part, it hurts but on the other hand it saves money as cost of living overseas is much cheaper hehehe though I have to travel frequently to meet her,
