The 8 oz max thickness is a problematic limit. Also there is a LOT of exposed razor on this tool so that seems like an easy way to get an incision while working with this tool. At the risk of a bit less agility when cutting curves, I'd MUCH rather use a strap cutter.

Hello thanks for the feed back. Your concerns and comments are correct. We have been producing this tool for a long time and it does have some draw backs. But many continue to like it.
