This tool is brilliant. I converted 1 sq ft. Of scrap leather into 60ft of free lace. Has anyone checked the crazy price of lace on a roll lately?

I can never get my lace to look like that. Practice, practice, practice. Thank you sir for that video gives me confidence.

It only really works with a specific type of leather. I’ve only had good results from oil tan.

You said oil tanned works the best. What if I have piles of leather scraps, is there any way to recognize or test for oil tanned? What oz. do you prefer? Thank you for the best lace cutting video sir.

What was the size of that scrap piece of leather and how many feet on lace did you get out of it
@darknessfierce42097 ай бұрын
The instructions on mine says it will make about 8 feet of lace from a 4 inch circle for the 3.2 mm lace
@niquil78009 ай бұрын
So is it straight or bend lace? Can I use it for floggers?
@alant3913 жыл бұрын
I still don’t know how to start it. Please send info. All mine does is circle and rub the leather, expanding the hole

Inspires me to stop buying precut lace for my projects. Will buy through your link. Do you think it will cut 8oz veg tan or too heavy?
@dead_hidden4 жыл бұрын
The stiffer leather seems to do the best. The problem you’ll run into is it fitting in the slot between the top and bottom. If it fits for height, you should be able to cut it no problem. The blade can be easily changed. I only use the second slot from the top, so I flip my blade over once before changing it.

is there ( Big Size ) belt strap cutting tool same like this ? Thanks in Advance
@dead_hidden4 жыл бұрын
Yes, there are several variations of strap cutters, but they don’t cut spirals. They cut long straight strips anywhere from 1/8” to 4” wide.
