Part of a personal project of mine, but a lot of new evidence specifically within the economic history field is adding new context to our view of the dual monarchy. By the 20th century things were improving and the Hungarian crown was being forced into a more cooperative stance by increasing economic hardship in the face of the Austrian half’s sudden and staggering economic development starting in the 1890’s.

23:08 I used to play viccy 3 on a barely-working gaming laptop, it was absolutely awful. It took 20 seconds on five speed to go a week. That computer was so messed up, the fans could be heard through ceilings and multiple people were genuinely concerned it was about to explode. The fact that the graphics and audio problems required intense physical violence to fix probably didn't prolong its lifespan either.

Depends on a laptop. My laptop runs Vicky 3 fairly fine, i7-8750H is a decent CPU, and GTX1060Ti is more than enough for any PDX game. Last 20-30 years are a bit torturous with the processing power, but still doable, I finished several campaigns in reasonable time. A more modern gaming laptop would have no problem running Vicky even in late game I presume as my machine is like 7 y.o.

I have another, kind of retarded video idea: Give the Papal State the monarchy it never wanted to turn it into Rome and then either take control of the mediterranean sea and form the roman empire this way or form the holy roman empire as vic 3 intends with "central europe" I'm not sure if it's actually possible to get control of the whole mediterranean within the given time frame of Vic but ... probably 🤷🏼‍♂️😅
