Thank you for the great idea. I have that pa k and the frame. I was thinking about mounting the pack to that crame.

Nice setup! If you were interested in an alternative method: Rather than using the additional webbing and triglide buckle to attach the pack to the frame, if you were to unravel the webbing riveted to the copper buckle from the rear @ 1:09, route the webbing over the bar of the frame through the buckle, and back through the pass-through on the lid, you will raise the pack level to the height of the top of the frame as well setting the pack closer to the frame itself. From there you can feed the shoulder strap webbing through the packs attached handlebar weapon for extra security so the pack doesn't slide off the corner of the frame.

I'm betting a late generation MOLLE frame would even work better, as the suspension straps have their own back pad separate from the pack.

Yes the dutch 2 man tent is a 1 man tent ...you zip 2 tents together for making a 2man tent...I used it in the Dutch army/infantry

Nice pack! It's amazing what you can jerry rig with a few zip ties and paracord. Is it comfortable to carry?

where’d you get the frame? have the same pack and been debating between the swedish lk35 and the alice frames. thinking the latter because of pricing and ubiquity.

You think this could easily fit to any external frame?
